I've got a college radio station for alt rock in my area though that has great music with lots of variety and very few ads.

Seems weird to have a USB A female as an input. I definitely don't have any of those cables kicking around. I made one a long time ago but I forget the reason. It was something dumb and I don't think it worked.

Yes you can, however it takes a few trips (at least for me) to learn to do that without falling. In the process you will fall a lot and hurt yourself a lot.
