  • In middle school I helped run the media stuff at my summer camp, audio and projector. We thought it would be really funny to show this one night after the talent show. We really cranked up the volume too.

I don’t think we officially got in trouble, but there were a lot of people that got pretty upset with us.

  • its true tho
  • I think that’s because pretty much everything just happens on the internet now. Most specialized applications are either built cross platform or are a website, so it really doesn’t matter what you use that much. It’s just down to personal preference

  • Orthopedic Surgeon Uses Apple Vision Pro for Rotator Cuff Surgery
  • Plus I would imagine a huge benefit is that you can use the UI for this without needing to physically touch anything that would get your hands contaminated or get the device dirty either. Pretty amazing stuff!

  • Starting 2024 off right!

Since I was little my dad and I have traded daily calendars. Usually The Far Sde, but sometimes others like Argyle Sweater. We skipped a few years but now we’re back on it!

It starts off with an off one fire sure, but aren’t they all?!

    I made: Slow-Cooker Pumpkin Chili

    !

    Ingredients

    • 1 Tbsp coconut oil or pure beef tallow (such as Fatworks Pure Tallow)
    • 2 cups chopped yellow onion (about 1 large onion)
    • 1 medium green bell pepper, diced
    • 6 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 ½ pounds grass-fed ground beef or bison
    • 1 28-oz can diced tomatoes
    • ½ 6-oz. can tomato paste
    • 1 14-oz. can pumpkin puree
    • ½ – 1 cup chicken broth or water (homemade or store-bought)
    • 2 ½ tsp. dried oregano
    • 2 Tbsp. chili powder
    • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    • 1 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
    • 1 tsp. sea salt
    • 1/4 tsp black pepper

    Directions

    • Heat a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add oil and saute the onions and peppers, stirring occasionally, for about 7 minutes or until onions start to soften.
    • Add the garlic and cook an additional 30 seconds or until fragrant.
    • Add the ground beef. Use a spatula or large spoon to break it up as it cooks. Cook until meat is nearly cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
    • Transfer meat mixture to the slow cooker.
    • Add remaining ingredients and stir.
    • Set heat to LOW and cook for 6-7 hours. Serve with desired toppings.

I made a tool to generate SVG patterns/textures to use a backgrounds for websites

I've been working on a neat little tool to create background textures/patterns in SVG. It has some presets, but also gives you full manual control of the settings. You can then copy the generated code output for use on your project.

Let me know what you think or if you find this useful!
