Apple has been told it must recall every iPhone 12 sold in the country if it cannot fix the problem.
Apple disputing tests by watchdog that showed radio frequency exposure was higher than permitted.
One possibility would be getting a used APS-C DSLR from Canon or Nikon, both come with a wide range of their own and third party lenses. Since both are wide spread they're comparatively cheap second-hand. That might vary depending on where you live though.
I'm not sure about the current state of things, but until a couple of years ago DSLRs had still an edge over mirrorless regarding wildlife and sports.
Why do you think that's stupid?
The Welsh parliament has passed a law bringing down the speed limit on all residential roads and busy streets to 20 mph (30 km/h). Not everyone is pleased.

That's the site not working in microsoft edge neither. I just tried the troubleshooting mode in ff, still the same. It does work with ff on mobile though. Luckily i ordered my new kettlebell last week when it still worked, gonna take a while 'til i need a heavier one :)
Actually i don't remember all, since i followed links from other sites. Others i found a workaround. The only one i tried to make work and still can't is suprfit.com.
Yesterday i upgraded ff to the current version and since today i experienced problems with a bunch of different sites. Either the cloudflare verification sends me into a loop or i get through and the site's not working correctly. Some others work, though. Disabling add-ons (noscript, ublock) and allowing all cookies didn't help. Most work with microsoft edge, but i don't know if the others worked with edge before.
Does somenone have info on that or experienced the same problem? I'm not sure is it just a coincidence or does the update cause the problems.
Edit:
I found a workaround for some. First i set the cookie block from "all cookies" to "all cross-site cookies", then i allowed via STRG+i to set cookies for the refreshed page. Then i set the cookie block back again.
I assume cloudflare changed the address for some of their cookies which got blocked by ff.
The only one still not working (so far) is suprfit.com. It's not a big shop, their software might produce their own shenanigans. I'll shoot them a mail later.
Edit2:
suprfit.com works now too. Whatever it was got fixed.
The CEO of one of Infosys' other major clients, Shell, also joined Rishi Sunak's new business council two weeks ago.
A firm founded by Rishi Sunak’s father-in-law signed a billion-dollar deal with BP two months before the prime minister opened hundreds of new licences for oil and gas extraction in the North Sea.
In May, the Times of India reported that Infosys bagged a huge deal from the global energy company which is thought to be the second-largest in the history of the firm.
The Indian IT company is owned by the prime minister’s wife’s family although Sunak has insisted the matter is of “no legitimate public interest”.
I think ist depends on the reflected wavelengths.
Haha, right after my comment i got flooded with posts from new communities on lemmy.nsfw and furry erotica. It definitively is annoying. At least the preview is blurred.
Welcome to the internet ;)
For now i just block the communities as they show up, same with shitposting communities and other stuff i've zero interest in. Waiting for the ability to block entire instances.
I have cookies and javascript completely disabled and can read it without any problems. (firefox on laptop, noscript, idontcareaboutcookies)

The risk, explains Yuste, is that the same tools which – in medicine – can help improve people’s lives, can also end up violating the information stored in the brain. “Although the roadmap is beneficial, these technologies are neutral and can be used for better or worse,” he notes. This isn’t only about securing personal data, such as shopping habits, a home address, or which political party one supports – it also involves things as intimate as memories and thoughts. And, in the not so distant future, even the subconscious.
Trentham Gardens say the birth of a beaver at the estate was a "remarkable landmark".
Today i'm actually proud of myself. I'm good with wood, textiles, gardening, trees etc. But metal, machines, electronics don't come natural to me at all. I learned to take care of bicycles or chainsaws because I had to but those scary household machines never. Until today. The machine stopped midway, full of water and clothes. Panic ensued. I already saw myself forced to buy a new one. After mere 20 years!
But mommy raised not quitter, so i took the stuff out, drained the water (without flooding the bathroom!) and had a look at that debris catcher thing and the lye pump. Both a bit dirty but easily cleaned and the pump's screw still moved. After looking into the waste tube I put everything together again and run an empty cleaning cycle. At first everything seemed fine but coming back from a short nap the machine was full of water again. So rinse and repeat it is.
This time i watched a few videos on how to dismantel the machine to get to the inner tubes. I had a hard time finding something since i've apparently got a rare top loader model. Luckily i watched one vid with a guy looking at the lye pump with a flash light instead of just feeling for coins or buttons with my fingers. So back down on the belly it was.
Lo and Behold! There was the culprit! A bloody rubber band had wrapped itself around the screw. Not nice. At all.
Being the good hoarder i am, it wasn't difficult to find some long hooks (spare bike spokes) to fish it out. Doing it was though. But with a good amount of patience and some luck (and an astonishing lack of cursing) i managed to untwine it and ease it out, without leaving anything stuck around the screw. (Funny thing is I don't use any white rubber bands, ain't got a clue where it came from.)
All in all it took me "only" two hours. But I fixed my first washing machine!
I hope you enjoyed my little Saga of "The Washing Machine and The Rubber Band" and I wish you at least the same amount of success for your own projects. Be they voluntary or not.
Assuming the surprised people even read the guidelines.
