What I've learned about gardening is to grow what loves to grow in my particular space. I tried a lot of plants and you know what thrived? Gerkins. Little cucumbers. Do I need 600 picklng gerkins? I do not, but thats what grows. Chives also love it back there.
So, we give away jars of home made sandwich slices and pickle relish. The plants reach up and pull on the low tree branches with their little tendrils. Its not what I want to grow (I want to grow fucking pumpkins, but they get downy mildew and barely fruit).
I know what the hell.. its not that hard
a whole rotissierie chicken from the grocery store is like €6. its the fast food industry that took the pandemic's supply chain issues that lasted for several months to increase prices to see how much they could increase profits. double the price and sales dont fall so far that the increase in net profit stays, they keep the increase.
as I've said, I started buying bread and lunchmeat. I'm not buying a €13 meal every work day (this is also sandwiches from coffee chains etc, not just fast food crap).
for me, if fast food isn't cheap its a no go. The good, fast, cheap paridigm stands: you can only ever have two.
it used to be fast and cheap. theyre now telling us its good and fast. it was never good.
what do you call a northsider riding a bicycle?
thief
I went through the burger king drive through a few weeks ago and got just a crispy chicken sangwich and the girl said €7.45 and I couldn't fucking believe it. I kept the receipt to show my wife. I also made sure we got a loaf of bread and some lunch meat to make sandwiches for the last few weeks. Honestly fuck those people
sure thing, but Morrocan Oil is an Israeli company thats a massive sponsor of the Eurovish
ISRAEL dude, fucking ISRAEL. Moroccan Oil is an Israeli company
jesus fucking christ
can you think of any other countries that the EU flag wouldn't represent who were getting boo'd and are also home to Eurovision's biggest corporate sponsor?

Last night (September 27), the iconic punks Bad Religion took over The Majestic Ventura Theater in Ventura, California for the first show of their fall tour. Originally announced in early August, the tour has Bad Religion bringing Speed of Light on a short string of shows that has the two bands on the road until the end of October. The tour follows a busy summer of festival appearances for Bad Religion with the band making appearances everywhere from Tokyo to Australia. With no festival restrictions, the band pieced together a career-spanning setlist for the first night of their fall tour in Ventura.
Bad Religion tore through classics and B-sides for a night that encompassed their storied career. The band kicked things off with “Epiphany” from their 2002 LP Process of Belief, the band also performed “Sorrow” from the LP. The main focus was on albums like Recipe For Hate and Suffer with four songs from each album taking up room in the setlist. The band performed tracks like “American Jesus” and “Skyscraper” from Recipe For Hate and pulled out “Best For You” and “Do What You Want” off of Suffer. The remainder of the tracklist saw the band sorting through their colorful discography, performing songs from classic albums like Noo Control and more recent releases like 2019’s Age of Unreason.
After a thunderous first show in sunny Ventura, Bad Religion is gearing up for one hell of an autumn. Their next two stops have the band staying in California, hitting Riverside and San Diego before heading up the coast to Eugene, Oregon. The band will be on the road until the end of October and hit cities like Denver, Minneapolis, and New Haven. Check out the full list of dates, setlist, and footage from last night’s show below. Asbury Park is the reason. The languid beach community of Asbury Park, New Jersey, has long been a port-of-call for many a disaffected musician from Springsteen at The Stone Pony to countless punk and hardcore festivals at Asbury Lanes and Convention Hall. Against this backdrop of rock and punk hist...
Don’t call it an “All-Star” band or have any illusion that BEACH RATS is anything more than five punk rock lifers in an Asbury Park basement making a riot of their own. “It’s loose, it’s imperfect, don’t overthink it,” says Baker. “It’s the experience of doing it. The time travel, that’s what it’s about.”
