When I think of BSG, what comes to mind for me is something like Panic Station, or maybe Human Punishment (the Beginning). Maybe take a look at those three games if you don't know them already.
Huh... I have both as well and I think the original is better in that regard. It has less mechanics (contingencies, Pod ejection schedule...) making it much easier to understand for beginners. Also I like the theme and the alien design more, but this is subjective of course. In our gaming group we have generally more fun with OG Nemesis (only slightly though, lockdown is great too). I'd choose the original over lockdown.
Also meine Sonicare (vor etwa 3 Jahren um die 100€) war nach zwei Jahren schon ganz locker. Dann habe ich sie aufgemacht und festgestellt dass sich die Schraube komplett gelöst hatte, die das Metallstück auf das man die Bürsten setzt an Ort und Stelle hält. Die Schraube hatte ich wieder befestigt, aber nach einem halben Jahr hatte ich wieder das Gefühl, dass sie sich lockerte. Jetzt ist wieder alles lose. Muss sie wieder neu aufmachen, was leider nicht so ganz spurlos geht. Hätte eigentlich lieber eine andere Zahnbürste, bin nicht so wirklich zufrieden, möchte aber leider auf keinen Fall auf das "Ladeglas" verzichten... :(
Ain’t gonna happen because there is no such thing as 4K 3D in Home Cinema terms, because unfortunately 4K UHD Blu-ray’s don’t even support 3D. It’s not in the spec. But yeah, I hope 3D will come back in a few years with much better specs.
I went to see the original Avatar movie 3 times. First time I unknowingly watched it in 2D. Then I thought “this would be amazing in 3D”. Then I saw it in 3D and it was so fantastic that, a few weeks later, I watched in 3D again. No regerts.

I tried playing Human Punishment the Beginning and it just wouldn't click in my head. That's probably the most complex game I have (or the game with the shittiest rulebook).
Been looking for an alternative for iTunes for ages. iTunes runs like hot garbage on my PC, but for me it just seemed like there just wasn’t anything like it for offline music playback an d management. This looks very promising, I’ll definitely check it out. Thanks!

Aber was ich nicht ganz verstehe, ist warum man das jetzt verbrennt. Es ist doch offensichtlich, um zu provozieren. Man weiß ja schon genau welche Reaktion es hervorruft. Warum macht man das dann? Will man Gewalt auf den Straßen? Klar ist das scheiße, dass einige so auf eine Bücherverbrennung reagieren, aber es ist nunmal so, warum muss man es dann mit Absicht heraufbeschwören? Was soll das bringen? Es ist ja so als wolle man die Gesellschaft weiter spalten und Gewalt. Das ist ein bisschen so wie im Kindergarten, wenn man ein anderes Kind die ganze Zeit gezielt ärgert und dann irgendwann auf die Fresse bekommt und sich dann wundert. Kenne das zu gut ("Das ist ein freies Land, ich darf direkt durch deine Sandburg bauen auch wenn der Sandkasten noch frei ist" und dabei dumm Grinsen).
Wobei ich mich da schon Frage was an einem Gruppenbild von der Kindergartengruppe so schlimm sein soll? Hätte ich ehrlich gesagt auch kein Problem mit. Oder geht es da um Einzelbilder?
Oder vielleicht qualitativ hochwertige Holzmöbel wie früher herstellen, die dann ggf nicht ganz so teuer sein müssen? Vermutlich nicht, weil die Arbeitszeit unverhältnismäßig mehr in den Preis fließt als der Rohstoffpreis...
Schon länger kaufe ich bei DM beispielsweise für Handwaschcreme oder Spülmittel immer diese Nachfüllbeutel, weil das weniger Verpackungsmüll bedeutet als jedesmal einen neuen Spender zu kaufen. Was mich dabei aber schon länger stört, ist, dass diese Nachfüllbeutel so klein dimensioniert sind, dass ich meinen Spender nur etwa 1,5 Mal nachfüllen kann. Die Beutel sind oft nur 500ml groß, manchmal 750ml. Total irrsinnig das als Nachfüllbeutel zu bezeichnen meiner Meinung nach, aber verpackungstechnisch trotzdem sinnvoller. Jetzt kam mir der Gedanke mal bei eBay oder so zu schauen, ob es dort nicht 5- oder 10-Liter-Kanister zu kaufen gibt. Dann habe ich mich aber bei dem Anblick der dickwändigen Kanister gefragt, ob das nun wirklich besser ist als die sehr dünnwändigen Nachfüllbeutel. Mein Gefühl sagt ja, ist trotzdem besser. Was meint ihr dazu? Konnte über googlen nicht so richtig etwas finden außer den Vergleich mit normalen Verpackungen (also nicht Nachfüllbeutel).
Hey, my ecovacs deebot 901 is giving me the error message "my main brush is tangled" all the time although I have cleared it quite meticulously and repeatedly. I see that there are potentially helpful threads on Reddit, but of course none of it is accessable. It seems like there is no ecovacs community on lemmy, so I might as well try my luck here. Does anybody know of a solution?
I tried to make Pad Thai several times now and it turned out okay, but never quite es good as at my local Vietnamese restaurant. Does anyone have a good recipe I can try? I am particularly interested in the sauce. Over the years I tried so many variations and was "alright" for the most part, but it never really felt exciting. Maybe I am missing something. Any ideas? Any favorite recipes you want to share?
