I played the GBA sequel, The Knight of Lodis, and that game blew my mind as a kid. It was also very difficult for me; I was only able to finish it because a neighborhood kid let me use his action replay to max out my units' stats. Even then, 10/10, it whips.

I have yet to play the original despite owning it for both PSP and on steam. It's a game that I want to play, but the length and just general effort involved in reading through class skills and stats are daunting for me with my limited free-time these days. I've been playing Pillars of Eternity lately, so maybe I'm getting back in the mood for heavier investment, slower burn kind of gaming experiences.
