From what I can tell, you're right that it is bolted/nailed to the stud.
This is only a temp change, as I'm looking to get up into the ceiling to look for excess water, from a sink overflowing.
The smoke detector drank a bit of water, so I'll be buying a new one today.

You don't know that we're not funding a black budget Stargate program.
I think they have more pressing concerns
I realize Russia isn't a command economy anymore, but is it really a consumerist economy? I'm more ignorant here than I should be.
Muslims and Arabs are maybe 1-2% of the voting population, and the already live in primarily blue districts. Everyone else will forget or doesn't give enough of a shit to make it a top voting priority.
The alternative is Trump, in which case the US might nuke Gaza just for fun, and then turn the west bank into a Trump owned water park.
Trump 2024 Baby!
I'm sure some bacteria and virus will survive the Venus like conditions for a short while
Shouting matches are half the fun
Did @StalinistTransition@lemm.ee get nuked?
They started DMing me instead of replying to comments, so I assume they did
Awful, lots of people are dying for a senseless war, just like all other wars.
The climate will be fine, we however, are fucked.
They DM'd me too, I suspect mods banned him. Given his account is only a few hours old, I don't get why he's not just making another one.
He's ready to hunt down the baby settlers and run them over with a T-90
I WILL NOT BE SILENCED - (unless mods nuke my comments)
You're username is a 6/10, not a nearly as good as SpaceCowboy
Where are you sitting right now?
Buy stocks in Exxon Mobil and help finish us off.
Seems to me you only care about this conflict because it fits your worldview, as you clearly don't care about a communist regime activity committing genocide on the Uighurs.
If Israel was a communist country you'd be running over Palestinians with tank right now.
I like your username
Foot well for my sedan flooded. I ripped out the padded below the carpet, to inhibit an future mold growth.
What sounds deading material do y'all recommend? What padding should I use with it?
Hey y'all. The GF loves French toast, and I'm pretty good at making it. Only problem is my roommates stole my only nonstick pan when I moved out. I'm going to attempt making it using my stainless steel pan, any tips? Or am I looking at a disaster here?
SUV breaks have been an issue, ever since the 2022 May inspection, in which Rotors and Pads were replaced. Just the fronts were replaced.
The brakes started sqeaking at first, and then the car started to shake mildly when breaking. This eventually got worse.
The car was taken to the shop sometime around September, and the Rotors were sanded down. This fixed the issue for about a month.
The brakes being squeaking again. The car was taken to the shop again, but they didn't hear it when taking it for a test drive.
Car started shaking again.
I didn't bring it up during the May inspection in 23. The Rotors were then replaced around June of 23.
The car has started to squeak again when breaking, but only at around 50 mph or above.
I've got an old Toyota, and years of sun have started to take thier toll on the paint. I'm starting to see the pain chipping on the hood. I want to keep this thing running for as long as I can, and I don't want it to look like a rust victim while I do it.
What options do I have to repair it? What are cheaper easier options, and what the the more expensive options?
My GF loves lattes, but she's lactose intolerant. She refuses to take lactose pills, for some unknown reason.
I've tried making lattes with skin milk and almond milk, but they don't foam quite the same way whole milk does. Any suggestions?
Hey Y'all
Bought a new home in New England with a stone basement or a rubble basement, whatever you want to call it. The floor is concrete. The home is on a hill, and well above the water table, but it's got a stump pump because stone basements can still weep if it's wet enough, I believe. I know I'll need to throw a dehumidifier in there and aim for 40%.
The home inspection didn't turn up asbestos or anything like that, but I want to know if there are health hazards I should consider. Thinking about doing a radon test, are there any other tests I should do? Or items I should consider?
What do you like about it, and do you think any of your methods could help the class?
What do you wish could be improved about your kitchen, or what would you change if you could?
The issue at hand seems to be a stuck roller that came partly out of it's track, jamming it in place.
