  • Look up DNA testing in Israel, their govt doesn't want people testing and finding out their genetic history seems to include an awful lot of eastern Europe and not anything from the Middle East.

Even Ashkenazi Jews are from Turkey, not historic Palestine.

  • I used to play DRG and with a driller and gunner you can get almost anywhere. With a full tank of drill fuel and a few zip lines it doesn't matter where the exit pod was, we could get to it sometimes before Molly got to it.

  • Get a pressure cooker, make stews fast and pack them into serving sizes for lunches at work/school or leave it in a large contain and serve it for dinners for days.

I prep my vegetables like carrots, celery and mushrooms and then freeze them. When I want to make a stew I take the pressure cooker pot to the freezer and fill it with the veg I want and get protein I want then add stock and seal the cooker and set it for 28 mins on high pressure and I get a stew that would take a few hours on the stovetop.

  • With the current state of their air traffic controls, I want at least a few months of accident free travel before I even fly through their airspace to go to Mexico.

Fortunately we have a few years before our 10 year anniversary when we plan on going south to celebrate.

  • She participated in the hiring process for other people at her previous job and when their postings listed certain courses as being provided if the applicant didn't have the courses, it was a lie. If you didn't have the course you were an automatic No.

  • The job just said people had to be willing to take the course but people with it already were preferred so she just wrote in her application she had it.

It would have dropped her below other people to not have it so she kept herself on top.

  • My partner applied for a job that said people with a certain training course were preferred. She said that she had that course even though she did not, she got an interview and ended up getting the job a few weeks back and starts next week.

She took the course after she got accepted, as it was a few hundred dollars that would have been a waste of money if she hadn't got the job.

Lying is acceptable to get employed within reason.

  • On Useful Idiots this morning, Aaron Maté said a good line which was also in the thumbnail for the video. "Do you condemn this phrase you've never said before?"

They are all manufacturing consent to try and crush this seedling of hope that the Democrats don't want to let grow.

  • Really what do people have against Arby's?

Maybe the American ones are shit because in Canada the fries are seasoned, crispy curls of tastiness and the sandwiches are pretty good, especially the beef n' cheddar with that onion crown.

I'm on keto most of the time but if I'm in a town with an Arby's then I'm getting myself a large curly fries and two sandwiches.

  • This is manufactured consent.

The media want you to think everyone is outraged, the owners of the media are rich and want their rich friends who also run the country and went to the same private schools and clubs to keep making money selling British weapons and planes to Israel to bomb children.

So you have to be told to think thousands of people chanted for death to an organization that is killing children is a bad thing and the govt starving an entire population is the good guys.

  • Better to wait until hostilities start and seed the enemy territory on the other side of your border with mines to cut off their initial force from getting backup than to endanger your own side with explosives that may fail to deactivate when decommissioned.

Also if they can be deactivated remotely, what stops your enemy from figuring out the kill code.

  • Back in the day, late at night the gas station guy would call a guy for you to get you what you wanted.

About 20 years later I worked with the guy that drove the car that delivered my weed.

What a small world we live in.

  • He's probably looking to his rich donors to see if they are going to pressure Eric Adams to drop out of running as an independent as well.

If they are both running as independent then the low information voters will split their votes which will help Mamdani win.

The have to do some research to see how they can ratfuck the mayoral election now that the primary is done.

for a minute I thought NYTimes puzzle was trying to promote managed democracy.
