  • It doesn't mean that every person has equal ability to physically defend themselves, but that society has the mechanisms to defend everyone that is being attacked. A grandma doesn't need to be able to self defend against a thug in the street if the people nearby do it for her.

    The second paragraph is not relevant as there are no historical examples of a dictator getting into power from within an anarchist society.

  • That's true for all types of society. But it also means that a completely anarchist society is more stable than the rest because the means of self defence are equally distributed and that everyone would rise against such authoritarian attack.

  • They have been maintaining two apps since many years. The change is going from Safari's WebKit to Gecko, the same they use for Android and desktop systems. It probably means less work for them as they can share more easily changes from the other builds to iOS.

  • Here the more pragmatic use of truth is being used, which most of the people would agree in its objectiveness. Either the real person did the call or not.

    Even in the philosophical concept of truth different schools of thoughts have different views on its objectiveness. Here is a better resource I think.

  • Yes. Photography captures an instant of the real world. The photographer still has to choose the moment, perspective, composition, filters and so on, but they are very constrained (not as much as AI prompters).

    The debate about the artistic involvement of photography has existed sonce the invention of the camera, it's not something new.

  • There is some technical skill involved in making it output something in the direction you want, but nothing exists until you hit enter, only a vague concept. The process is so detached from the artistic decision making that it is a complete outstrech to call it art. You can never have a personal style doing AI stuff. No vision, no nuances.
