Nottingham here.
FYI I managed to save deposit during COVID lockdowns, I actually lost my job again the beginning of lockdown and was unemployed for 3 months, then I managed to save 20k during the next year and a half, which was a little more than 10% of the house price.
Cyclists endangering motorists? Me on my little metal frame is somehow a danger to basically a tank, yeah no, not buying that one. And speeding? Do you know how difficult it is to get above 25 on any bike?
What an absolute shit rag.
How would a prosecution occur if there's no inspectors? They haven't got BTP checking tickets now have they?
You might want to check the mirror for clown makeup yourself.
"knowing these people"? The fuck does that mean? Is this racist or homophobic? I literally can't tell.
As long as it means more rights for the worker and not less I'm all for it.
Exactly what I was thinking, at ATG all that happens is you get asked if you have any glass, they don't even search you.
Rice and beans is life
I've heard of this, but I'm not sure it's true, after searching I can't find a source that says it is either, are you aware of any studies that suggest this is true?
I'm not advocating removing meat from school meals either, just that everyone is catered for.
They have to serve it, not force it down student's throats though right? Is there anything restricting them from also serving something plant based at the same time?
It's a weird position to take, if I was offered parental leave I'd take it all and probably wouldn't want to come back to work.
Fair enough if you live in a place where people actually like their jobs and want to be there, but that doesn't seem to be the case for the majority of us.
Just cos you like animals doesn't mean you're not a capitalist.
Can't say I've seen any though I browse with an ad blocker and don't watch TV. When I do see adverts in the UK they are mostly fear mongering or trying to appeal to your ego.
0% for me :)
Is there a law that forces a school to serve meat to every student? That would be a weird law.
Schools should cater for dietary requirements, regardless of whether those requirements are for medical or moral reasons.
Vegans aren't difficult or expensive to cater for either, rice and beans are cheap.
39%? 60% seemed low. Glad I don't eat that shit.
Still waiting for someone to explain to me how water is dry.
It's mad that it's not equal, if mothers and fathers have equal childcare leave there's no need to discriminate against hiring women full time (which is a thing that still happens, some companies don't like to take women in their mind 20s full time cos they end up taking maternity, I saw this happen first hand while I was in RBS, that was only 2 jobs/a few years ago)
Looking it up at least a year behind bars for the worst of images, seems low
Personally I'd just legislate that these cycling/scooter schemes need to come with actual racks to put the bikes instead of just some painted box on the floor.
Check out what they do in Barcelona, they have a huge cycling scheme and never have this problem.
Holy crap, new Gridlink on the way, 9 years since Longhena which was a masterpiece
