He's jammed the radar, sir!
The States Attorney already said its nothing more than a symbolic gesture. They legally cannot secede from the state. I have the severe misfortune of living in one of these counties. Everything around here is dead or dying because of decades of total, uncontested Republican rule. Whole towns here are nearly abandoned. And yet, they STILL bitch about how the Democrats, who have no control here, have ruined everything.
Maybe because of all of the other indications that suggest there's some truth to it. Like the fact that Trump is one of the people most frequently photographed with Epstein, and the numerous allegations against him that named both Trump and Epstein before Trump was even running for President. Or the fact that Trump said with his own mouth that he would fuck Ivanka if she weren't his own kid, while she was still underage. Where there's smoke, there's usually fire. And there's an awful lot of smoke there.
No mention of the Dwemer or Falmer, eh?I know they aren't playable races, but they are pretty important lore-wise.
Screenplay, please!
Same. I am obsessed with their peanut butter cups and the peanut and cornflake bars.
Same. Of the dozens I've seen taken down, about ⅓ to ½ have been replaced with Harris signs. It's certainly been a surprise.
I can only speculate, but I would guess it's a matter of the T-50 having a more efficient and aerodynamic aerofoil and fuselage that better facilitates a higher top speed. I don't know the specifics of the T-50's performance stats. Is it universally faster, or faster in a very specific flight regime?
That actually literally happened to my mom. Went months with a front door that wouldn't latch because they refused to repair it after the fact.
Long story short, building got struck by lightning and one of the units caught fire. Everyone evacuated. Billy Badass firefighter than proceeds to kick down my mom's door after she's already evacuated to make sure that the unit was unoccupied and that the fire hadn't spread. Her unit was on the for end of the building from the lightning strike and fire.
I know lots of firefighters, and most of them are authoritarian adrenaline junkies.
And Saint Attila raised the hand grenade up on high, saying, 'O Lord, bless this thy hand grenade, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy.' And the Lord did grin. And the people did feast upon the lambs, and sloths, and carp, and anchovies, and orangutans, and breakfast cereals, and fruit bats, and large chulapas...
And the Lord spake, saying, ''First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.'
I just love how this film approaches stereotypes. EVERYONE is an overblown caricature, but they're all caricatures that don't line up with what you expect for their race. Asians are all caricatures of African American urban youth. Most black characters are either Asian-coded or yuppy White-coded. It does a great job of highlighting the absurdity of so many of those stereotypes.
And it's just a great Kung fu flick.
And I only learned about him in the first place because of Watchmen.
I am ashamed to admit that I still haven't seen these. I need to change that! I keep hearing that the first two are excellent, and the third movie and shorts are really good, too.
I'm working on finishing GoT before I watch this.
I have to say that Viserion is one of my favorite dragons on screen. I've always loved the D&D Dracolich concept, and that's the closest we've gotten in a show more movie.
I haven't seen that anime, I definitely should check it out. I was into DOTA briefly when it first came out and kinda dropped out when it became hyper competitive and toxic.
Dragonheart. I said elsewhere that I love that one, but am not quite so enthusiastic for any of the sequels. They just didn't do the original justice.
I loved the Themberchaud scenes in Honor Among Thieves! Man, what a wonderful movie in general. I hope it becomes a series.
Eragon was very watchable. It wasn't great, but it was fun enough.
I had all but forgotten about Dragonslayer! I loved Peter MacNicol as Galen in that. It was surprisingly good! I remember seeing this in a double feature with Krull.
I still have not seen the last two Hobbit films, I've only seen the first.
Reign of Fire still holds up, and it had a fairly fun video game adaptation. My only gripe is that it definitely teased a sequel that I doubt we'll ever see.
I absolutely LOVE the first Dragonheart. As for the sequels... there should have only been one Dragonheart.
The Game of Thrones stuff is awesome, and I especially loved Viserion. That may be the only time we've seen a dragon like that on screen.
Great list! Thank you for reminding me of Dragonslayer! I need to watch that again.
The movie doesn't have to explicitly be about dragons, but dragons need to be featured as more than just a passing comment or minor cameo or scene.
I love the Eborsisk in Willow. It's a very unique two-headed fire breathing dragon that is somehow both incredibly ugly and very cute, and Willow is one of my favorite films.
Rathalos from Monster Hunter and King Ghidorah from Godzilla are also very cool dragons.
Might wanna hang out here.
I promise not to turn this into a Monster Hunter forum!
Ys 5? No such thing! Hoax!
The last post here was 5 months ago. That's sad.
Anyway, what are your thoughts on the changes to SMTV in Vengeance?
I'm digging them. Save anywhere and Magatsu Rails are excellent improvements, and I dig the new demons quite a bit. Playing on Switch.

I just started watching Voyager on Paramount Plus today, and noticed that the first two episodes, which are shown together, are presented as the appropriate 4:3 aspect ratio, but Episode 3 "Parallax" is presented in a distorted 16:9 or 16:10 format. I see no option to change this in Paramount Plus settings, and my Vizio TV will also not allow me to alter what ratio is being displayed.
Anyone else have this issue? Is this going to persist for the entire series? I didn't have this issue at all with TOS, Animated, TNG, or DS9.
