Appreciate the heads up.
"leaks" about Google blocking ad blockers got me to switch to Firefox in October last year. Was worth the risk. Took the time to also leave googles password manager and switch to bitwarden as well.
User statistics All-time upload: 1.779 TiB All-time download: 1.244 TiB All-time share ratio: 1.42
My main tracker has me at a 1.5. I'm really proud of that because I hardly download freelech and seeding is required so it's damn hard to get a decent upload.
It's one of the reasons you should never use tor fullscreen on a PC. Makes it just a bit easier to try and fingerprint you.
I don't think it's open source but we use our groceries. Just links to an email only no password. They just send you a code when you link the email to a new app. It's also cross platform if that matters at all. Also requires no permissions granted to run and only requests a camera permission to scan barcodes.
lmao. I didn't make it very far into the article but that's probably the biggest way to ensure no one ever uses all their space 😂
Ah now that's actually not a bad idea. Wouldn't be bad for something like that then.
Lol yeah I guess that's true. I don't have anything I would want to put in the cloud that I also wouldn't care if it just randomly went away.
That was my first thought without looking any further than the price 😂
Iptorrents has seasons 2 through 7 from what I can see. It is private though and idk if that's all the seasons or not. I didn't check for all episodes either.
ahhhh ok. I've seen it a couple times and its confused me both times lol
I saw something about them the other day and thought to myself there is no way this is real because they were offering something like 10tb for like 800 bucks. Lifetime sub. I guess they mostly count on people just not using anywhere near that much storage.
How do you make your name like that?
Yeah that would be spectacular. My work phone is iOS and I don't think I've ever had it not work on that 😂 still greatly prefer my Pixel 7 Pro though.
Assuming you mean that Bitwarden doesn't always show up when you go to type in a user name or password then in my experience that is just a thing with Bitwarden. It is frustrating though. I've found that sometimes closing the app out my recent apps and reopening will get it to pop up or just give it a few seconds it will will show up as well. I haven't noticed it happening in a whole lot of apps though.
As far as google smart lock I really only remember seeing that with Netflix and Bitwarden seems to play fine with my Netflix app.
Makes sense. I would want it to back up my main machine somewhere though. I guess I would have to go cloud or finally bite the bullet on a NAS.
I disagree about the natural talent one. From my perspective thats the obvious first pick. At work I'm currently training to be a Crane Operator and struggle busing hard with it. Like yeah I could use it to get muscles but thats not even where I first went just because imo the ability to quickly learn a new skill is invaluable. imagine being a natural at negotiating business dealings to get a favorable outcome for your side. once you figure out how to turn your natural talent into money a lot of the other things will be able to fall into place.
Currently using liftoff and its been great and done everything I want it to do but will be jumping ship the second Sync for lemmy comes out. !syncforlemmy@lemmy.world
Side not, holy shit when you put an "!" the start typing a sub while on desktop it starts to autopopulate then you can pick what you want and it just puts in the formatting. Idk if that is instance specific or something lemmy itself just does but it's awesome.
Sounds like a reminder to not delete things you may need later regardless of where it is stored.
What's the difference between syncthing and just setting up a NAS? basically just not having to buy the hardware and using the computer you already have?
