Awesome thank you. Should I remove the driver's I installed? FWIW I had this exact issue on Windows when that card was there so it's not purely a driver issue.
Yeah I guess that's all true. Either way I personally would prefer a gun to a baseball bat for self defense for the simple fact that it puts me in less danger than attacking my attacker with a melee weapon. There admittedly isn't much in my house that is worth my life but apparently the person breaking in values my things more than their own life.
I mean if I take a swing at someone's head with a baseball bat I'm probably just as likely to kill as I would be by shooting them. I will say baseball bat to the head probably hits less since it would probably render you unconscious immediately.
It's there no option to update things with a GUI or do you just prefer to use terminal. Currently trying to decide between mint and endeavor. Haven't used Linux since Ubuntu way back in college in like 2011
Which is why you never throw away a computer with the drives in it and you never throw drives away without physically destroying them. Don't give other people the chance to see your weird shit.
I've used Linux before albeit that was like a decade ago playing with Ubuntu but I had no idea how to answer that question. I don't want an app store and I don't want to install from the command prompt all the time. I just want to download something from the browser click it and it install it 😂 idk why that isn't even an option to pick since I'm pretty sure that's something you can do with Linux.
Either way I'm currently burning a Linux Mint/cinnamon flash drive to live boot and may dual boot it since I have an extra old SSD laying around.
As someone who bought lifetime ultra on sync for reddit the day he announced the shut down it's a price worth paying. Used the app for almost 10 years and only paid 5 bucks. He wasn't sure what was going to happen going forward so I gave what I could in return for that service.
Reddit users who switched to Lemmy, what is the most annoying thing you have seen about Lemmy users?
The FOSS and privacy preachiness really gets to me sometimes. I will admit it has gotten me to think about taking steps towards degoogling my life and things which admittedly is probably a pretty good idea but God sometimes it feels like if you aren't using Linux and graphene OS and browsing everything from behind atleast 3 vpns you might as well not even breath because you don't protect yourself correctly.
Google removed the keyboard from the AndroidTV OS; now required to use voice or your mobile device.
So does this just get installed into a mini PC you plug into the TV and act like basically a Chromecast? It looks beautiful.

Slowly raises hand and looks around. I really need to change that password but I'm so scared I'll forget it 😂
I mean I hardly use the tap to pay feature on my cards but I use credit cards for everything. Tap to pay is more secure so protects the banks more. Same reason we moved to chips instead of always using mag strips.
😂 I immediately thought of this video but more specifically the black guy reacting to it.
Ah then yeah that kinda silly. They should at least have a cashier override for that prompt if they are going to brag about not having to touch it.
I mean I get why you aren't but you're still an asshole for it. If you didn't want to go into debt you could have work to not take out loans as well. You took the easy route and are fucking your siblings over for it.
For what it's worth I truly do understand why you don't want to "throwaway" 5k. That's a choice to be made between you and your SO but I also think this should have been something you guys talked about earlier in life that you may have to do this so that it wasn't dropped into their lap in the middle of life.
Tap to pay isn't there to stop you from interacting with the terminal though? I mean yeah it was handy during the pandemic to now have to touch things many other people touch but that wasn't the main idea behind tap to pay.

Yeah I never really think about charging. When I go to do my get ready for bed routine I drop it on the charger. It's generally full before I fall asleep but it just spends the night there and I put it back on in the morning.

Currently wearing my OG galaxy watch. I admittedly only really use it as a normal watch and to check the date. I keep wanting to buy a new watch but I just can't justify it since this thing does everything I need 😂
I have a few air tags tied to my work iPhone. My main phone is a pixel and I didn't even realize you could connect them together. As soon as you open an air tag near an iPhone you get a little pop up prompting you to set it up and off you go. They only update location when they come within range of a new iPhone but that's pretty constant anymore.
My daughter is on the spectrum and I have one in her bookbag. It's cool sometimes being able to watch her bus ride to and from school as she passes by different phones 😂
That's the big catch then, Thank you.
Ah ok. Haven't used a Tor browser in ages.
