I got my first speeding ticket on high school blasting Rock You Like A Hurricane by the Scorpions, I understand this disease. This song is also most likely to be the one I get my next one to though hahaha, it's an absolute high octane thrill fest of a jam.
I totally feel that. I used Swiftkey for like 7 years until Microsoft bought them out because everything just SUCKED after that. Predictions, autocorrect, the whole nine yards. I had to drag my sorry ass back to Gboard because it at least autocorrected things better but man do I miss the height of Swiftkey prediction.

I've been using sync for Lemmy since the 3rd partocalypse of 23, and I haven't been back to reddit since. It's been enjoyable being on Lemmy, and the folks are usually pretty awesome here. I can second the niche interest thing though, but I've always used reddit in a curated general content fashion, so Lemmy is plenty sufficient in that regard.

His statements appear to be a by-the-book representation of born-again mentality. In my own experience with people doing this, it's a last ditch response to, "people think I've become messed up and no longer being a decent human, so I'm doing this to prove I'm not messed up."
This is only effective as long as they make maneuvers to avoid being "messed up". The statements he made in his video can only be taken as far as his practices afterwards. Does he apologize? Does he atone? Does anything happen besides "I dunked myself in water which means Jesus and I love each other" which is only the thinnest veil of non-action that results in positive feedback from the largest body of the public I can reach with one video. What do YOU think about his statements? Are you an atheist or are you baiting?

Honestly, it ticks me off when people attack third party voters instead of going after the majority of eligible voters that just don't vote at all. Like, if you have such a problem with my personal vote, please go after the people who didn't even try first. Thank you for voting, and your reasons are yours and yours alone.
Virtue signalling and punishing people who use their constitutional ability to vote vs those who don't even bother absolutely infuriates me.

Hey everyone, I saw a community called ADHD Talk, but it's got no users, so I came here instead.
I like this community because it provides a lot of funny contexts for the difficulties I come across in understanding my diagnosis, and some honest stories from other ADHD people (victims? Possessors?, Space cadets?)
It's also hard because, like some legitimate OCD possessing members that groan at every mild example of specificity, it's hard to filter out the general decrease of attention spans due to technological advances/rapid cuts used in animation from other people trying to understand and live with a diagnosed disorder.
Anyways, hoping I can make some new friends here (which despite being very social in person and 33 years old, I haven't figured out how to make friends online somehow?)
