  • Instagram will blur nudes in messages sent to minors
  • Because they are sent from minors to minors too?

This could be different depending on the country, but in Germany that would still be illegal. I don’t think a rule like you suggest would ever happen if not forced by law

  • Instagram will blur nudes in messages sent to minors
  • Yes, but it’s very hard/impossible to verify if something is e2e or just encrypted. Personally I wouldn’t be surprised if meta had access to the encryption keys

  • Nextcloud Ups AI 'Assistant' to 2.0 and Backports It to Nextcloud Hub 7 - FOSS Force
  • If I understand correctly this is just an extension so I don’t mind. But personally I’d prefer if they worked on their collaboration (Office) rather than some AI stuff

  • Instagram will blur nudes in messages sent to minors
  • There is a difference between encryption and zero access encryption

  • Instagram will blur nudes in messages sent to minors
  • One question. If they know those are minors and that they know that the pictures are nudes, why the hell don’t they just ban the accounts that try to send nudes to minors? Also who the hell thinks it is a good idea to send nudes to Meta?

  • New Windows driver blocks software from changing default web browser
  • I don’t think so, but that doesn’t stop windows from doing it

  • Beeper is now available, no waitlist!
  • Proprietary app that decrypts all my messages? I’d rather pay for element x

  • Goodbye EndeavourOS ARM
  • Debian? They have good ARM support (the raspberry pi OS is based on Debian, uses its repos). Definitely also install flatpak. Most, but not all, flatpaks have arm builds.

  • New Windows driver blocks software from changing default web browser
  • Apparently this is done to block browsers like opera to change the default browser without user consent, but I think this just makes it more complicated to change the default browser. Maybe they’ll add a pop up if an application tries to change it, allowing users to accept, but I don’t think that’s likely

    Why use Ares?

I saw this Project on Flathub and tried it. It works well enough and I like that its ready to go out of the box without needing to install cores like Retroarch. The UI is different from Retroarch, but is there any big advantage? Does anybody use it? And why?

What handhelds would you recommend at each price point?
  • Low end RG35XX is good, especially with garlicos. If you find a good deal you can get a NDS lite and a flash card for 50 bucks and have DS, gba natively and emulators for nes/gb. On the highend Steam deck beats everything in my opinion
