They do address that in the article though.
Dowse adds that "99.9% of our community are the absolute best and it’s because of them— thankfully—that my community team perseveres. But I suppose it was inevitable that when you have a city, a few bad eggs will start a fire."
"It's a double-edged sword that comes with this kind of approach—especially with a game that's this popular. Developers gain a lot by listening closely to feedback, talking with their players, and putting a face to their names on social media. On the other hand, they also open themselves up to the masses at large. While only a small portion of said masses are nasty, the law of large numbers kicks in very quickly: 0.5% of a million people is still 5,000 angry strangers yelling at you."
Even if 99.99% of the community is amazing, that still leaves at least 1,000 people who are still willing to do/say terrible things to the developers.
If you go to the account that this account uses for proof, you'll see that the user (byofrog) admitted that they fudged the specs to make them look identical. This is not a one to one comparison
Screenrant Article here from a day ago. It does still state that Nintendo intends to investigate, but most of the stolen/copied asset claims have been refuted or rescinded. With the main "they stole assets" person admitting they fabricated the proof because they hate how Palworld glorifies animal abuse (which is extremely ironic to me because no one had a problem when Pokémon was cockfighting for children)
Going to remove this post as a dupe since it looks like you're getting more input on the second thread!
While not the greatest solution, if you use the built in sorting and swap from value to type or any of the other sorting, it should restack items. Granted, if you've done any manual sorting you have to kiss that goodbye :(
No disagreement at all, still feels like we shouldn't be applying that word to something so severe.
Imo the just feels weird because mass murder shouldn't be a "just". It should be somewhat near a penultimate, but compared to genocide...
What I've found is that it tends to happen more on dialogs and cut scenes that are skipped through. If you press A or skip through a cutscene at the wrong time (no idea how to tell when a bad time is) it will de sync the entire dialog and from then out you just get characters bobbing their heads as if they were saying something but not actually speaking. Luckily it seems to stop happening for me on the next cutscene if I let it play through the entire way unskipped.
Two things you have to consider are leases and contracts. Many of these companies don't own their buildings, and are contracted to continue renting them for X number of years. Businesses that allowed WFH during the pandemic many times had to eat that cost.
Personally I'm of the mindset that upper management saw this and said we need to get people back in office to make our investment worthwhile instead of trying to amend the contract or renegotiate to not have to rent the building anymore.
What the fuck? Poland, Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, the entirety of the Eastern European Bloc? I can tell you have it in your mind that this is me vs socialism or some weird argument. I'm done engaging with this conversation. Foul smell coming off your comments.
In my opinion, a joint agreement of boundaries of a soon to be annexed country would be beneficial to both parties.
This is a rough analogy that doesn't touch on many of the intricacies of global politics so bear with me. If you and your neighbor both have a claim to a plot of land between you, and your options are to work together and come to an agreement, or to fight over it, wouldn't it be beneficial to both to make the agreement?
No, at no point were the USSR and Nazis allied. There were no trade agreements, no personnel support, and no treaty outside of the Pact. However, I think it is disingenuous to say that the USSR and Nazi Germany did not militarily benefit each other.
I think you need to take a breath mate...
Yes, the USSR and Nazi Germany were cooperative during WWII until the Nazis thought they could expand the eastern front. That is just a fact. I'm not saying they were Allied, but they weren't exactly enemies until the Nazi betrayal of said NAP.
I did not bring up the US at any point in my comment, but no I don't believe they were the good guy in this situation either. The civil rights of minorities in the US at the time were appalling and it's no wonder Hitler looked at that and sought to implement it against the "undesirables" in his country
Not all disagreement is hostile or an attack, I was simply providing a correction to the previous statement that the USSR and Nazi Germany did not militarily benefit each other. If you disagree that their agreements did not have military benefits for both sides, then I very much would like to hear that argument. Obviously once Germany expanded the eastern front, there was no cooperation.
Yes, the USSR and Nazi Germany were definitely working together, not sure what you're talking about here.
Now if only she wasn't so damn buggy :( I want my Durge to have an evil partner but nooooo she has to glitch out and not appear in act 2 at all.
Yeah this is more along the lines of "researcher working with multinational team falls ill in remote cave" more than "dumb american does dumb thing and needs rescue". Man started throwing up blood and fell into a 3 day semiconciousness at which point he needed rescue.
I'm playing local split screen coop with two xbox wireless controllers and haven't ran into any issues with them. At the very least, I certainly haven't had any of the issues you're reporting. Possibly check out Hairy's comment, might be some known 8bitdo issues with steam?
Yeah this went right over my head until now that I'm able to play the game lmao.
Check out 'geforce now'. It's Nvidia's cloud gaming and I'm pretty sure Baldur's Gate 3 is available now. It's $20 a month but still cheaper than buying a whole new machine.
Not a ton more than what's been available since early access, but I love seeing these big name articles popping up with the same sort of wonder and intrigue. Everyone who I talk to has been amazed about all the things you can do, and to see that in a big name review is awesome.
So I'm imagining it's a toss up on whether or not players played through EA or not, and in my mind this would apply to Act I as well as beyond, but how does this community intend to deal with storyline spoilers? If markdown is implemented right,
>! Then this should be a spoiler
but if the markdown method of right arrow (>) followed by an exclamation point (!) does not properly tag spoilers, do folks care enough? Maybe marking posts with story spoilers as nsfw?
I would like to suggest no spoilers for storyline in future post titles, and either having spoiler tags on comments or something along those lines. This all might be a non-issue for most community members, but I figure if there are people out there who want a spoiler free time while still being able to visit this community to talk about the game (people like myself).
What do y'all think? Regardless, I'm very excited to play through this new story! Happy Launch Day y'all!
