Ziq’s main objection seems to be that banning microaggressions is a slippery slope that results in wrecking campaigns which nearly destroy the site. Sounds less like a policy problem and more like a moderation problem.

Put my old shift supervisor on the floor with a bunch of apes so he can try to make them work the machines. I’d pay to watch the worker uprising.

I for one am purchasing a new TV each month. It’s a staple for our household. We go out and it’s like a nice little tradition we’ve established. Then we put it in the living room, hold hands, and skip around it chanting while we burn the old one at its feet so it knows to behave.

I’m gonna spend about 3 hours researching the local positions where my vote counts and leave everything where my vote has already been decided for me blank. Then, I’ll use all the extra time I saved from not pouring my brain down the drain watching endless election coverage to instead do some mutual aid, which has already saved several lives this winter. I don’t have the link anymore but there used to be a good effortpost here on how neofeudalism doesn’t actually have the same material base as feudalism and that what we’re really witnessing is the reproletarianization of the American working class. The slave labor is drying up. The stolen land is drying up. The capitalism-saving policies a la the New Deal which were feasible because they excluded various PoC and other minorities? They’re being gutted and will not be replaced. There are a lot of PMC folks and a lot of white folks and a lot of “middle class” folks who are starting to experience what others have experienced for decades: what’s it like to be a worker under capitalism.
