Mike Lindell officially loses all his lawyers in $5M 'Prove Mike Wrong' cyber challenge
  • ask yourself this: if a random person mike lindell’s age offered 5 million dollars if someone could prove the earth isn’t flat, would someone ever be allowed to collect that in court?

If someone who was known to be relatively rich held a competition, where he repeatedly made the claim, and said anyone who could prove him wrong would be paid, set requirements "you have to pay to come to my event to make a claim", and then advertised that fact, then yes, i think that person would have an appropriate claim.

At some point, 'you' have to take responsibility for your actions. If I a bet online, and lost, I would expect to have to pay.

  • I mean, the options seem to be "this man is mentally ill, he needs to enter adult conservatorship" or "this man is an adult, who made a contract, and is being held to a contract"

He doesnt seem to be so far gone he needs a conservator, so his contracts are valid.

My relatives dont have a charger at home, they just plug their car into an outlet, and get ~40km range over night. That more than enough for the daily commute.

  • I think you can pair something like an xbox controller.. but i havn't heard of any spatial controllers.

Apple is all flash and show, and they advertised it as "you dont need controllers, just use your hands"... which is great for some things, but will never be good for a lot of applications.

  • as a VR enthusiast: if the had just added controllers it would have made it so much more useable.

No matter how good your gesture controlls are, it still greatly limits its use. Theres a reason we use mice and styluses with computers, instead of touch and mid-air gestures!

  • The first social media babies are adults now. Some are pushing for laws to protect kids from their parents’ oversharing
  • we just had a kid, and we share the occasional photo of them on facebook. Usually really nice pictures, designed to make sure it wont impact them in the future.

Anything more personal is sent via direct chats, text messages, ect.

Cant image sharing personal details about my kid, the kind which would haunt them for years down the road.

  • iFixit is breaking up with Samsung. ‘Samsung’s approach to repairability does not align with our mission,’ says iFixit’s CEO.
  • while i have some significant beef with samsung's repair-ability, i was able to get my phone repaired. Had a problem with the antenna, and for $200 CAD had a new modem and a new antenna installed at a private shop.

At least samsung doesnt 'key' their parts!

  • yea, ill go looking for great movies and games which have good Dolby Atmos... but once i buy it, i dont need to see a splash screen every time.

Wish we could have a single splash screen with all the bits of tech. then its only one, instead of screen after screen...

People honestly beleive there was a massive empire until recently which covered most the globe, but was destroyed by a worldwide mud flood.

Whose planning on upgrading from a Quest 2 to a Quest 3?

Whose planning on upgrading from the Q2 to a Q3?

It seems like a lot of incremental upgrades, but it's a LOT of incremental upgrades.

Cost is definitely a lot higher than I like, close to 2x what I paid for my Q2

Pedestrians Are Dying in Record Numbers. There’s Nothing “Accidental” About It.

I listened to the episode, and its genuinly horrifying how big auto's pushing of bigger and bigger cars just keeps killing, and the majority of people seem to go "eh, thats just the way it is"
