Russian trans politician... Damn, talk about going through life on hard mode.
I understood what you meant. I just don't agree that coming to this conclusion makes somebody a fool given the context.
"The full name of the Nazi Party was Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (German for 'National Socialist German Workers' Party')"
Gee, I wonder how anyone could possibly come to that conclusion?
Get your best racist stompin' boots ready, Vancouver.
Not how I personally interpreted the question, but that's a fair point.
Even if that's the case though, I don't see why anyone would have to keep it a secret. To quote a favourite 'girl song' of mine..."Why'd you have to go and make things so complicated?"
Attributing gender to someone's song preferences has to be the strangest example of mental gymnastics I've seen for a while.
Well said, I couldn't agree more.
I honestly can't stand comments like these. Why is every technology discussion on Lemmy dominated by people congratulating themselves for using something 'better'? Most of the time without even being asked.
Wasn't really intended as a comparison with any other developer either. They're just a relevant example pertaining to a larger industry issue.
Wait...does that kid have a dog nose?
Mom's got some explaining to do.
I feel like it's pretty straightforward. Sony releases far more ports and remakes than newly developed original games.
Holy shit Sony, just make a new game for once.
It's a serious answer. Sorry if it's not to your liking I guess
I don't know, maybe good parenting?
Guilty of this. I've never used a track pad that didn't feel like complete ass.
If a felon can still become the leader of a country, then that country is broken.
Dumb ass American politicians don't know how to govern beyond "ban or blow up something we don't like".
Not really an answer...
This is not intended as a political post, hopefully its allowed. What are some charities I can donate to that are reputable, and will use the proceeds to help civilians in Gaza?
I'm trying to move away from buying so many things online instead of supporting local. What are some local businesses you folks suggest? Where have you had a great customer experience in the HRM?
Restaurants suggestions and that sort of thing are welcome as well, but I'm mostly interested in finding local alternatives to online stores like Amazon and big chain stores like Walmart.
Voyager has been great so far - thanks for the great app. However, one issue I run into involved using voyager on desktop. Its perfectly usable, but the browser version looks a little awkward as the layout is cantered and narrow; typical for a mobile layout.
Just wondering if there are any plans to add a dedicated desktop layout, or else to add further appearance customization so that users can edit the layout to match their needs. The official lemmy web app is completely broken for me (no idea what changed) so this change is all I'd need to become a voyager user across all devices. Thanks!
