I can and have parallel parked a giant van on a busy downtown LA road very quickly. I passed my original driving test in one of the largest SUVs on the market at that time (my parents were idiotically obsessed with large vehicles. I've driven some of the largest rental box vans. I have zero crashes on my record. I also know how to drive a manual and have changed timing belts and do my own oil and who fucking cares cause I know you don't.

On the east coast of the US, most parking lots are wide enough for 2.5-3 cars. Much wider than a single perpendicular parking space. Backing out into that wide driving path is so much simpler than backing into a single car-width.

Regardless, I simply am going off my experience having to sit and watch and wait as people constantly take far longer to back-in than when I have to wait for those backing out.

This is one of the many reasons I laugh at the copycats. I saw some in a store recently too. They almost always lack the touchpads, or the rear buttons, or the amount of buttons is less, or the positioning, or they run Windows 11. Almost all cost more than a Steam Deck as well. No thanks.

Enslaved is great. I love games from that PS3 X360 era.

Another great hidden gem from that era is The Saboteur. It's on Steam and plays well. With some minor tweaks it works well on Steam Deck too. It's such a great unique game from another amazing studio that was unfortunately screwed over by the behemoth shitty corporations in the industry.

Nothing is that binary. Your response isn't much better as a training tool. Nuance is important and this concept dangerously toes the line with victim shaming. Really depends on individual situations.
