I'm trying to migrate from HAOS to HA Container but that's no way to restore the backup. Is there any other way to do this?
Can we stop using the Steven Crowder meme already. The guy is a total chode.
Sorry for your loss. I went through this myself today. I'm devastated.
Also the headphones have two cables on one side
are they just kissing Microsoft's ass?
This. 100%. It's why I don't understand folks recommending Lenovo laptops to run Linux on. Lenovo is in bed well Microsoft and caters to whatever they want. SecureBoot, modern standby, etc. We need more vendors supporting open source firmware like Coreboot.
Edit: feel free to refute me instead of just down voting.
Fedora is probably the closest you can practically get.
I bet there exist some Linux installs out there with a different shell than 'bash',
100%. Alpine is one such distro.
It's not reasonable in any language
Latest models suck. I have a T15p and it's garbage.
Based on what?
The problematic models we have are all T series.
We have nothing but problems with the ThinkPads issued by my IT department. Multiple models. They're not what they used to be.
Better to just buy a System 76 or Framework.
Agreed. Most Youtube thumbnails are cancer. Bug eyes with mouth wide open or pointing at something. Enough already.
Interesting. I didn't realize it was structured this way. I thought it was similar to NixOS for some reason.
the only OS to make sense really
How does it make more sense than Fedora KDE?
Are you a manager by any chance?
Everything feels so polished and reworked.
Strange that you say this because not much changed in this release. It's mainly an update to Qt6. No big UI or UX. What specifically feels different from Plasma 5?

Rejected chips, hidden microSD cards plague the USB stick market.
There's a few packages that I use that I have created personal patches for. When one of these packages gets updated I need to manually change the PKGBUILD to the new version, SHA, etc. Is there any way to have a local patch applied to a package every time a new version of the package is release?
I manage hundreds of servers at work. They each have a BMC (remote power on/off, reset, KVM, etc) and we need to use those features frequently. I've been using a Google Docs spreadsheet to track their URLs, what each box is used for, specs, etc but it feels like a dynamic web app would be better for this purpose. Does anyone use anything like this? Did you make your own?
I'm wondering what the current favorite distros are besides the most popular ones like Arch, Debian and Fedora.
Mine is Strawberry since it has a ton of options and plays a ton of formats. It's also (distant) fork of Amarok 1.4 and integrates well with KDE Plasma. I'm curious what other people are using these days. What's your favorite player?
Ethan Lee has been keeping your favorite indie games running for years by porting them to Linux. Now he wants developers to start thinking about “maintenance” instead of “remasters.”
The transition to Squarespace apparently started a few days ago.
What do you use to send and receive SMS on your computer? I've tried KDE Connect but found it too buggy to use daily.
