What makes you not want to use Linux anymore and maybe move back to Windows, MacOS, or TempleOS?
Using Widows on my private rig now to play Fortnite with my son after ~15 years on Linux only. Also getting a MacBook Pro at work now, since I have to use Zoom and stuff like that everyday. Having no hardware acceleration on Linux is a no-go. This is not Linux' fault though. Also I'm old enough to just use the right tool for a job.

But... You still can? Even with the new Appstore, it supports snaps and debs.
Edit: Oh, you mean like double-click a deb file. I just use dpkg -i or apt install ./filename.deb.

Yup, had the problem with Cinnamon. On Plasma it works fine.
Linux Mint Debian Edition officially released
Security and Wayland compositors run better for me. YMMV, of course.
