It was meant to be a peaceful protest. When there were violence, Trump told the protesters to leave peacefully. Trump challenged the election result through court. Most of the court cases ruled on "no standing" technicality not the merit. Anyway, since the court challenges weren't successful, the result was a peaceful transfer of power. There was nothing wrong from what Trump did.

Cutting government waste and increase efficiency is almost always popular to most Americans. In the past politicians often talk the talk but never walk the walk. I disagree that cutting government waste and increase efficiency is easy at all. It is actually the hardest thing in government.

This is a reasonable take. I don't think Trump's proposal would work, and I don't think he will proceed with that. But the question is what is what is a feasible proposal that would work for everyone? I don't think anyone has come up with anything feasible at this point.
