The Tory leader said her party would introduce legislation for minimum service levels and block doctors taking widespread industrial action, placing them under the same restrictions that apply to police officers, soldiers and prison officers.

Minimum service levels are all very well and good. But nobody is going to agree to them if not financially renumerated.

If a country wants to bring a case back to the ICJ to make a ruling on compensation then it can only do so against countries which have agreed to its jurisdiction, which includes the likes of the UK, but not US or China.

As well as being non binding, this point alone makes it completely useless. Unless they get compensation from some of the world's biggest polluters this is going to do nothing.
