Can I ask what made you stick to Sideberry instead?
Kindly explain where so we can make our own opinion.
Very very cool, brings back nice memories.
That'd be great to have some kind of columns display, customization and sorting. I doubt that it's worth it to imagine it being developed anymore given that the latest release is from 4 years ago.
Not for sure, but I have a few leads.
I've heard and discussed with artists who mentioned that producing vinyl was very expensive compared to cassettes, which are cheap and easy to DIY.
Then I'd add that cassettes have a retro appeal nowadays. Lastly, they are an analog format, opposite to the CD which is the 1:1 copy of the downloaded FLAC album downloaded from Bandcamp.
Hi,
Thank you for offering an alternative.
The interface is pretty barebones, even for a "keep it simple" app.
I'd be wise to consider making those tiles smaller, having huge boxes containing 45% decoration isn't the best I think.
Else, I'd add sync or access to calDAV items as soon as possible.
Cheers
I see a lot of folks on bandcamp who sells cassettes for instance
While I love Logitech I'll never forgive them to have killed the Harmony products, it's so great I can't believe they took that decision
That's great news indeed!
Now if they could consider implementing some sort of sorting and more advanced filtering that would be a huge plus, along with dupe control
That's a very solid advice! I started dual booting all my old macbook with Fedora KDE and another on Pop_OS and they are doing ultra well.
Million thanks mate! I can confirm this! Cheers!
Sorry if my post wasn't clear, I meant my PDFs like my files which are stored on my computer, but that doesn't mean I have all the source files (far from that), I'm talking about all the PDFs that you get from others, like from work, suppliers, etc
Why not? There're a bunch of them for desktop users. Besides, what alternative file format would you suggest?
Thanks, I was more inclined towards FOSS apps but that'd help others!
Thanks that's a super great idea!
EDIT: Fired it up and it works brilliantly on a mobile, I'm impressed! I wish I had that idea before, thanks mate!
Thanks for your feedback, I do agree with you and I don't do it for fun either. That said, I often get the need to do different tasks and I wanted to know if I could skip the need to use a computer for this.

Dear Lemmings,
I deal with several PDF files on a daily basis. I'm still struggling to find a nice FOSS app to edit PDFs on my phone.
My common needs are :
- OCR the content
- merge pages
- delete pages
- reorder pages
A bonus would be:
- edit content
- fill form, print / send to email
Do you know one which is able to do this?
Many thanks
Thanks, I wasn't because I weren't sure on the best way to go, but I just joined now. Feel free to approve when you have time! Cheers
Thanks that's very nice of you! Let me know if I have to DM you my email or something else! I see that you're behind that project, nice to have you there
Looking at this Web page I end up on a wait list... Is there more somewhere?
My dear lemmings,
I discovered Clonezilla a while ago and it still is my main tool to backup and restore the partitions I care about on my computers.
I cannot help but wonder if there are now better, more efficient alternatives or is it still a solid choice? There's nothing wrong with it, I'm just curious about others' practices and habits — and if there was newer tools or solutions available.
Thank you for your feedback, and keep your drives safe!
I've been looking for a way to update my KDE connect binary on my Mac and realised that the binary-factory.kde.org was gone.
Found the new site at kde.org but I fail to find the updated MacOS binaries now.
Can anyone help? Thank you
Hi all,
I recently decided to make the switch from Windows to Ubuntu (Pop_OS) and I'm struggling to setup my NAS on my new OS.
I can mount my folders without issues and access them on different file managers (Nemo, Dolphin), but I'm having issues accessing them from my installed applications.
For example if I want to modify tags for my audio files (which takes 80% on my Synology drives) I cannot find them in the application(s).
I can't right click on the files and use 'open with' and I cannot drag n' drop the files to the tag editor, so I try to find the with the applications:
- Ex Falso: no network share is available on the sidebar / navigation bar, nothing in 'other locations'
- Puddletag: same
- NTag : same
How are we supposed to make this work? I just want to be able to access my files without having to download them on my local disk and send them back to my Synology every time I want to do this.
I read in some places some time ago that Xiaomi will be making things more difficult in the future. If updating to HyperOS will make things harder so I'll pass. If someone has recent experiences about this topic that would be appreciated
Learn more about Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, tested as the toughest Gorilla Glass yet, with significant improvement in both drop and scratch performance.
Basically the title, I received a new price with a significant price tag (at least for me). My previous ones I didn’t care much so they weren’t protected. Given that I’d like to keep this one in good shape I’d like to know your experiences: does it still make sense to buy screen protectors nowadays? If so, also on newer quality screens like Gorilla Glass Victus? Thank you for your feedback
Hi all,
Basically the title. I have several computers that get saved every now and then using Clonezilla in case of a critical hard drive crash. Data backups are made in a different way.
While I like Clonezilla, I've been wondering if there was some better cross-platform alternatives? What solution do you use for this scenario?
Since my favorite player (Swinsian) tends to cause stuttering issues with my MBP everytime my system load exceeds 55%, I'm looking for alternatives to play my lossless files.
Apple Music and iTunes are out of question.
Thank you kindly
I mostly use Lemmy on mobile but I sometimes browse it with my desktop browser.
I'm surprised to not see a way to scroll to the next page automatically. Is there a switch somewhere or an extension / script I can install?
Thank you for your feedback
