Jewelry that can be worn when I'm boymoding
  • Cishet but one thing i didn't see mention is just some kind of non metalic bracelet. In the past I've done a braided bracelet. Someone might ask if it has any special meaning but it won't ever be questioned beyond that. If you want to get an idea of what i mean just look on amazon for "braided bracelet for men" and there's a bunch of ideas. If you have a loved one you can always ask for something like this as a gift for that special meaning. Or just get one that you like the look and/or think would look good.

    Have fun!

  • Chess grandmaster Magnus Carlsen rejoins tournament he quit over wearing jeans - after dress code change
  • I guess it is something but honestly i would've liked to see the dress code ditched completely. This does nothing to help the guy earlier in the day who got fined for wearing sporty sneakers or w/e. You're playing chess, not some fashion show.

  • Yeah i knew you didn't have the data but thanks for confirming with this logical fallacy trash.

Wealth management are certified professionals who would be able to look at your entire balance sheet and help manage assets, provide financial advice, tax advice, etc. I specifically was referring to setting up an LLC or trust to claim the funds through and structure those entities in a way that you don't have direct access to all the funds to avoid burning through all the funds.

To your nonstatistical point: people have no self control, just look at you and me needing to reply to each other, but someone who wins the lottery will be able to afford professionals whose job it is to help beat those odds.

Anyway I'm glad you've saved $20 today and hope you have a great day

  • As i said

unless you have very bad self control and would blow through the money.

Which is why you can work with a financial advisor and other wealth management strategies to set yourself up for success.

But yes, lots of people have lack of self control but if you're going to throw around big words like statistics then show those receipts. And i mean actual studies not an article pulling numbers out of their ass.

  • Lotterys are usually paid out in annuities where you would get that amount over a period of 10-30 years. However, they also give a lump sum amount which is usually ~half the stated amount and after taxes you could expect to receive 1/3 the stated amount.

Still, it's generally best to take the lump sum unless you have very bad self control and would blow through the money.

  • Here's a hot take about Sekiro
  • It took me a long time to get the sekiro timings down but they are not "all over the place". They are literally timed with when you would get hit and take damage.

Deflect (there is no parry) too soon and you won't take damage but you'll receive posture damage. Deflect on time and you get no damage and no posture damage. Deflect too late and you get damage and posture penalty.

What i liked about sekiro is that it taught me how to be a better DS player. In DS i never bothered to parry, but after being forced to learn the deflect mechanic i went back to DS and was able to do parry more consistently. That aside, the game had fun, challenging combat and the narrative was compelling.

  • I disagree. It is a community for gender diverse folk and the rules are there to protect them. This is not about the dragon. It is about respecting someone's identity. "Dragons aren't real" in the context of someone identifying as a dragon is no different than a TERF telling a trans woman that trans women don't exist. It it inherently questioning her identity, transphobic, and attacking her.

Can you see how that would be problematic? I think anyone surpise pikachu'ed by this should consider learning how to be a better ally instead of thinking they can say hurtful stuff.

  • Yeah i only looked at it briefly the other day when it came up. I like the idea behind it but can't comment on the science/chemistry so am overall hesitant to trust it. The miso cards seemed relatively simple to make and use though, and i believe without risk of overdose at the dosing used. Given the US politics going to start cracking down on abortions, i think the miso cards are a good idea. Id need to look more into the other things though before trusting the group overall.
