US tells Israel it will support Israel in a conflict with Hezbollah
  • You're not wrong. But this is our tax payer money being flushed down the toilet to make war profiteering companies more money. I guess go buy some military contractor stocks since it doesn't look like we have any representatives that can actually stop this bullet train to WWIII.

  • US tells Israel it will support Israel in a conflict with Hezbollah
  • Hezbollah has been retaliating against Israeli aggression on Lebanon. Israel has been stepping up attacks on Lebanon in the past 6-8 months in an effort to (I assume) drag the US into a war with Iran. Iran who's actually been incredibly restrained in their responses to Israeli and American aggression.

  • The US healthcare system is broken...
  • GoodRx or something like it was used. Welcome to the man in the middle scam that makes people think they're getting a good deal when in reality, they pay for insurance but insurance makes it so costly to use their insurance that people have to pay for it out of pocket or with an HSA but can't apply the cost to their annual deductible. This is a win win for insurance companies and patients get screwed. I hate the US healthcare system so much from spending time interacting with it from the perspective of work and personally.

  • Michigan stands out for its aggressive bird flu response. Will other states follow its lead?
  • I would not be thrilled for newsome. He’s a snake that undercut the progressives in his state government multiple times. Shapiro has been decent. I would come out for him for sure. But one thing I know is that the weekend at Bernie’s situation we’re facing right now is about as bad of an option as we can have going into an election year.

  • Hilary Clinton Endorses George Latimer in Challenge to Unseat Jamaal Bowman

If you need a clearer example of how the Clintons are opportunist scumbags that will use race to get elected in one breath and throw minorities under the bus if they don't agree with their horrific world views.

If a useful brain-computer interface was available sometimes in your lifetime (and secure and safe) would you get one?
  • Judging by how tech has basically used it to spy, control, and advertise to people, there is no way I would let more of my data get in the hands of these ghouls. The only way this could happen is if there were stringent government controls that put the ownership of data into the hands of people with walls around that data preventing governments from accessing it. At this point, none of this seems possible.

The difference between European countries and America is becoming so stark. Anyone reading or watching global news has to see how backwards this country is and that it’s only getting worse.

FTC judge rules Intuit broke law, must stop advertising TurboTax as “free”

It’s about time that Intuit was called out for their scam. Hopefully, the attempt to stop the federal tax filing will get dismissed as well.
