I've really been enjoying Kagi. They seem to have a pretty good privacy policy as well. However Searxng is probably the best for privacy since it's self hosted.
I just installed Pop!_OS 22.04, after finally ditching Windows 11 entirely. I picked it because it seemed easy to use, well suited for gaming, and popular with good support.
So far, everything has been great!
This is great! I've been wanting to get better at my geographical knowledge, particularly in Africa. This is a fun way to study, thanks for posting it
I've been pretty happy with Kagi and they have a decent privacy policy: https://kagi.com/privacy
"Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction. "
Unfortunately I think you're right, the way the thirteenth amendment is written might make laws like this unconstitutional. What we really need is another amendment banning it entirely.
This led me to some interesting reading, apparently it was a topic in the courts of the day:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schenck_v._United_States?useskin=vector
I think it's supposed to be https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graggle_Simpson
I don't believe there is, and if there was, it could be used for some really nefarious purposes!
One of my favorites is from the same album - https://youtu.be/5T9Yygju9IY
I haven't finished it yet but I have read the book. Didn't they basically cover all the content from the book in season 1? I can't imagine additional seasons would be nearly as good with show runners just making things up off the cuff.
Deeper in the article it talks about this, it's a lot. It's really the most strategic way to vote in a state absolutely dominated by one party.
This post gave me the same question and I went and looked a bit. Looks like it: https://www.cdc.gov/poxvirus/mpox/vaccines/vaccine-recommendations.html
Depending on the size of the screen and the sitting distance, sometimes 1080p is more than enough.
Nothing to deserve that comment that I'm aware of
"In areas administered by the National Park Service, an individual can possess a firearm if that individual is not otherwise prohibited by law from possessing the firearm and if the possession of the firearm complies with the laws of the state where the park area is located. 54 U.S.C. 104906. "
Oh dang really? Thanks for the correction I need to update my knowledge here.
While I agree that the surrounding area would be well armed, I believe firearms in the park itself are actually banned for civilians. (Wrong, see below) This is a rare case of a police force stopping an active shooter quickly.
I hit up all the tea places I could walk to last time I was in Seattle but unfortunately Ballard was a bit too far from where I was, I'll have to keep them in mind!
Seconded, breezy weather is amazing. I've installed it from source with obtainium.
I don't know if the video calls it out but Tidal also integrates into Plex, which is amazing
