Was my night for the weird dreams - can't remember the details of the first but there was some sort of seminar or similar being run or at least facilitated by the estate agent who sold the house. Mum was in it as well and I think surprised herself and everyone else by how well she was doing.
Second one I do remember was there was some sort of queue at what looked like the op shop where I donated a lot of the excess when I was cleaning out the place, and it was for a type of ice cream made in this really weird way that I doubt is possible, and a Karen type at the head of the line was having a rant because she didn't think it should be available so no-one else should have it. You know the type.

Had a productive day: caught up with the real estate agents who sold me this place and checked out a place that had been suggested but came onto the market too late to suit. (This one is definitely better.) Then started tackling the boxes of kitchen stuff that are still unpacked as well as reorganising the kitchen. Then felt like a break and a bahn mi so I got that via another OFI in the block of units where I made my first offer and got pipped at the post. And had no trouble walking at a medium pace three times for about 15 minutes, so yay!
A nice salmon and cream cheese bagel would do the trick, plz chef. And a latte, because Melbourne. 😂
Had the windows open a bit to take advantage of the (relatively) balmy weather. Apparently it was All Too Cold for the cats, who are both curled up in the loungeroom and the bedroom respectively with their tails around their noses.

Back to work, saw the papou and most importantly the papou's next of kin.
Remember how I asked them to let them know I had the 'rona because he was showing symptoms and I was worried he had it, and he's a nonagenerian with health issues up the wazoo? "No, they never told me nothing." 🤦🏻♀️ Fuck's sake.
Plus to top it off he had symptoms. "Yeah I thought it was just a cold, I better test myself." Yeah mate, might be an idea.

Re: new mattresses, Bunnings do a very affordable box mattress. I presume it comes in single or double? Possible option.
Had a restless night due to pain until I got up and took a large dose of Panadol osteo at 4:30, then promptly crashed until 9. I honestly think the last time I slept that late was the night Mum has the stroke - and I only fell asleep at about 5 that time.
Also I see my streak of having no dreams while the DT has weird dreams continues.
I had a rev head in a WRX tailgate me and just about run me off the road when I was taking a load down to the new place. At 6 am, and in the rain to boot.
Good news from the dentist - nothing obvious (and therefore expensive) showed up on the x-ray he took. Therefore it's either a post COVID toothache (which apparently is a thing) a sinus thing or something irritating the gum. He's given me antibiotics and we'll see how we go.
Toothache still here - got an appointment this afternoon which unfortunately clashed with the shift this afternoon.
The guy I spoke to didn't sound too impressed. Tough. Especially since he didn't even bother to identify himself.
