It would affect everyone on this site since it’s primarily western leftists. Yes the majority of the world would actually benefit but everyone here would have to deal with the minority of people who would not. There are people in the United States who would benefit, but not the majority of the population, let alone the majority of the nonwhite population.
Greece shouldn’t be a country. Their economy is shit but it should be restructured into a turkish economic block and a lot of their economic potential should go back to the global south in reparations in perpetuity like all European countries.

If we tell them their lives are getting better or misdirect their anger away from us when we inevitably alienate them, it’s better than saying we hate them because then they have no reason not to hate us.
