I like products, but why in the hell does CLion, which you'd use to work on php-src, not support phpt files, which you would only need to use if you're working on php-src? It instead tells

  • @Crell @jetbrains I haven’t tried doing it recently. Last time I tried, I couldn’t figure out how to get it to recognize Makefile projects like CLion does.

  • @Crell @jetbrains This is very frustrating to me, too. The normal response is to use IntelliJ IDEA and install a million different plugins to make it work.

    • After seeing people use the UI to commit to git I understand where all those - sorry: shitty - commit messages come from....

  • @ajsadauskas @neil @asklemmy As for chat, probably the best way to do that today is to use Web Sockets but style it to look like frames or a Java applet on the page.

    My only question is about whether drop shadows on text was prominent. I’m having trouble remembering how that effect would have been accomplished in the 90s, since I don’t think CSS got it until later. Would it have been something on the font tag only supported in Internet Explorer?
