dozens of GB of disk use by Rust
I was well above 100GB the other day 😅. But I think there's a problem with the setup as well
Tbf less than 15% said it was a problem and the others is either "it's good" or "could be better". I definitely still have a few grievances with rust-analyzer, it could be better.
The political leaning is definitely unfortunate. The fediverse should be for everyone, not just a certain political section.
I would think and hope so.
they can harass you by continually sending you replies for WEEKS and WEEKS at a time (this actually happened to me twice, once with hexbear.net and another time with lemmygrad.ml).
Honestly you really shouldn't be on an instance that federate with those places to start with.

Personally I'm not a fan of the way PieFed uses upvotes and downvotes to basically do statistics on users in order to profile "bad actors". That feels like karma from Reddit all over again.
There can be many legitimate reasons why a user might downvote a lot, and a user being downvoted a lot is not necessarily problematic. They may just not be following the "hive mind", and honestly we could use more of those users.
Honestly I kinda wish the Rust devs would rather go and support a project like Redox OS and then maybe we can have less drama about all this.
I like the optimism, but I'd see it before I believe it.
Scandinavian, yes, nordic, well, I don't think they do it in Finnish? Not sure about Icelandic.
Meanwhile Danish turns the indefinite article into a definite suffix. Like:
A house: "et hus"
\
The house: "huset"
\
Houses: "huse"
\
The houses: "husene"
Am I the only one that feels it's a bit strange to have such safeguards in an AI model? I know most models aren't available online but some models are available to download and run locally right? So what prevents me from just doing that if I wanted to get around the safeguards? I guess maybe they're just doing it so that they can't be somehow held legally responsible for anything the AI model might say?
You're definitely not supposed to be looking at what anon is doing and finding it good. This is more like a zoo where the exhibit is the strange, chaotic and sometimes racist creature that is Anon.
Personally I read them mostly for the humor, and mostly for the exhibition of the strange world view that Anon sometimes have. It's interesting (concerning?) to be reminded that people like Anon exist out there.
This hit a bit too close to home.
When a fediverse app wins, the whole fediverse wins. A rising tide lifts all ships or however it goes.
Not what OP asked, but what OP needed to hear.
No - in Italy you eat pizza with a knife and fork.
The cool thing is that it's not like versus, it's like co-op!
User blocking also doesn't block votes so they'll also still influence your feed.
Can confirm. My wife is a gamer and we watch anime together. Life is great :)
Two 4k external monitors through a docking station - Why is this seemingly effortless for Windows but basically impossible for Linux?
