Keep retro games alive
  • Fallout 1 and 2 are god tier. I‘ll throw in planescape as well, since the teaser for it came with Fallout 2 (I think). Like what you want, I like bmovies more than regular movies, but OG fallout is so much better than the skin husk that gets worn these days.

I feel like the dude in the wrestling meme with this post haha, it’s still real to me damnit

  • Have you ever been to a movie so terrible that you saw people leaving the theater? Which one was it?
  • Hey now, The Mist, The Shining, Salem’s Lot, Storm of the Century, 1408, Rose Red (Depending on your tastes of course, it’s bad, but very watchable) that would like a word. Hell, Silver Bullet and Maximum Overdrive Are also not bad if you enjoy less than great movies.

  • Parasitic wasps and caterpillars type of thing
  • I hate we’re going through this, but it does help to know I’m not alone. I try, I really do. I am near done with grad school and work full time, but in my free time I’m too drained to do much more than just zone out for hours.

  • Nintendo is suing the creators of Switch emulator Yuzu
  • There are so many things that add up over time. I wouldn’t say I hate them just yet, but I‘be stopped buying their products. The way they go about their business just rubs me the wrong way. If the only way to try to communicate that is disengaging from any of their offerings, be it games or the new switch. Yea, I’m out.

  • Should I get diagnosed?
  • I was officially diagnosed at 34; I‘ve known I had ADHD for a long while, but cost of getting tested and not having medical insurance was a large factor. Once I finally did get my diagnosis, I had the ability to get help legally instead of self-medicating. I would say, if you’re so medication resistant, there isn’t much point, but that makes me wonder why you would care to do so in the first place? I don’t get special accommodations at work or in my daily life, O just finally have medication that will help with my issues.

  • When would you let go?

Hey all! This may be kind of a dumb post as I know I need to make this decision myself, but I‘d sure love some advice. My oldest dog is 11, going on 12. The poor girl is diabetic, blind, has fatty lipomas, and mobility issues due to diabetes, breed, and age. This morning, we are fairly sure she had a stroke of some sort (the vet agrees with this diagnosis so far, blood work and an X-ray are incoming). She eats but doesn’t really want to get up much, and is generally just resting most of the day. She still has a bit of sparkle in her eyes but she doesn’t really seem to have much energy left. The vet hasn’t mentioned it, but I‘m pretty sure it’s about time to say goodbye. The most important thing to my partner and I is that once she’s suffering, it’s time to let go. She just ate a nice full dinner but still doesn’t want to get up and do much. How long would you give her? Till she’s not eating? The vet hasn’t brought it up yet, so maybe I should be patient, but she’s been such a good friend, I don’t want her to suffer. I’m just at a loss, and this is the first time I‘ve had to do this horrible calculus.

Need Help! Hope this is a good place for this!

Hi all! I was hoping someone could give me some advice! I have a new momma and six squirts, five days old. I made her a birthing box and she liked it for a bit, but now she keeps moving the kittens to a place under the bed where it’s kinda dusty and feels like a bad place for babies. I would move them back to the box and five minutes later she would move them back! The box is some clean towels on top of a pillow. I don’t want to stress her out, but I think they would be better back in the box. Anybody have some advice?

Faust: Love of the Damned (2000)

Watching currently. It‘s…it‘s so awful. Jeffrey Combs, Andrew Divoff, still couldn’t be saved. And yet, watch it once at least. The lady melting scene (this is a very nice way to phrase what sights you will behind) is worth at least one viewing alone. Mind the dogshit pseudo metal that plays ten times louder than the whispered dialogue every ten minutes.
