Meet Nami
  • I haven't even seen the Netflix one, but as far as I can tell, it shouldn't matter which version. I was just curious is all :)

  • How many alts do you have on lemmy
  • One, technically. I never really use it, though.

  • Meet Nami
  • One Piece reference for the name?

  • Megadeth - Peace Sells
  • Absolute classic

  • How do you even call that?
  • Why can I smell this image

  • Pills (Take Two)
  • Immune to cancer And just to annoy people the "Make bell sounds at will" one

  • [QUESTION] What is the most realistic-looking game that can also run on Linux distros?
  • I second Cyberpunk, ray tracing enabled or not. That game truly captures a realistic dystopian world in the best way possible.

  • Okami - The Sun Rises - [Rei Kondo]
  • Okami is such a beautiful game.

  • Krita FTW
  • Been using Krita for a long while, and I love it. Fantastic alternative to Photoshop and other art programs and image editors.

  • So proud of my child
  • From the earth I rise, and to the earth I one day will return.

  • Android music library management?
  • Symphony is my go to music app, but there are plenty of others out there, both FOSS and not. Retro Music Player also works great.

  • [Fresh] Johnny Manchild and the Poor Bastards - Oh, Songbird
  • A fellow Alpharad fan by chance? I found out about them the same way, and now they're in my top three favorite bands.

  • I believe in Mort supremacy Not a Christmas hat but you get the point

  • Spotify wrapped results.
  • Banger music taste. 90s bands are the greatest.

  • Which controller did you start with?
  • Keyboard and mouse, but when I started using computers I was so young that my hands were too small to hold the mouse properly, so I left clicked with my thumb up until three or four years ago when I got my first ergonomic mouse. Kinda funny how long habits can stay with you.

  • I finally switched back to Linux as my daily driver after a couple of years of being on nothing but Windows.
  • I'm dualbooting as well, but only because a few games I play aren't supported on Linux due to their anticheat. Namely Fortnite and Destiny 2. I'd completely switch if that wasn't the case. Hopefully someday.

  • I finally switched back to Linux as my daily driver after a couple of years of being on nothing but Windows.

I ran Manjaro Linux as my daily driver a few years ago but slowly phased it out for Windows for some reason, and I'm finally back using Linux (currently Linux Mint). I gotta say, I don't know why I ever switched back to Windows. There's just so much freedom Linux gives you right off the bat that Windows is just plain stubborn about. The final straw for me was a couple weeks ago when Microsoft added a Copilot (Bing AI) Shortcut to my Windows 11 taskbar. They'd already added ads to my start menu and preinstalled a bunch of garbage that should be opt-in, not opt-out, so I was just fed up with it at that point. Plus, Linux is so much more customizable. Been running Mint for about a week and a half now, and honestly, I don't think I'll be using Windows much anymore.

    Insanity by Oingo Boingo

An alternative song that made me feel a little tense the first time I heard it. A bit of a darker feeling song for sure.

A song that came out a decade before I was born. Definitely a more popular song, but a great one nonetheless.

I noticed that the YouTube Music link leads to the live version on Songwhip, so if you use YouTube Music, click here instead for the studio recording.

Anyone else have trouble with the Nintendo layout not working properly?

For a little more context, I use an 8bitdo Ultimate Wireless controller. The one that works on the Switch, PC, and the Deck, with my Deck docked to a TV while playing for this to happen. Haven't tried to recreate the issue undocked, because I don't use the Nintendo layout undocked.

I've had a few games where I press a face button (ex. The A button), it acts like I press the correct button for a second, but then immediately after it presses the Xbox counterpart. Like, when I press A, it presses B right after, which makes it really hard to navigate menus.

The layout works well with most games I've tried, but I've had these issues in Cyberpunk 2077 and 30XX.
