I Can't Drink Now Like I Used to a Few Years Ago (26M), is that Normal?
  • I'll speak from experience: I used to like having a tolerance because it allowed me to "hang" with people that were heavier drinkers than I was. All this ended up doing for me was pave the way for alcoholism to set in.

  • Ive had this experience multiple times as well. What's really freaky is that Ive had it happen years later and I don't even remember the dream but it comes back to me in the moment and gives me goosebumps. I'm normally not very superstitious or anything so it's an interesting phenomenon.

    Like you, it has never happened for any life altering events, just silly situations.

  • Yeah generally I just finish what I was reading while I let the water warm me up. Then put my phone down and wash up. I suppose I only do this because the phone is water resistant, versus buying a water resistant phone because I need to bring it in the shower.

  • I personally have been bringing my phone in the shower for years. It also gives me peace of mind when I'm doing outdoor activities around water.

    I remember once I had my phone in my pocket at a party before they were water resistant and I got knocked into the pool. Would have been all set if that phone had water resistance.
