October is over, and the main Inktober challenge is done. Thank you to everyone that participated, and congrats to everyone that made it through the entire 31 days!
Many of you will be taking a well-deserved break, but for those of us looking to continue or join in on the fun, we will continue to post prompts from the weekly Inktober52 challenges.
As always, these are the rules:
- Please remember to be kind. All skill levels are welcome here.
- AI art is not allowed.
- Submissions must be based on the given prompt, but either traditional or digital mediums are welcome.

Day 31! The last day of Inktober! Thanks to everyone who participated and made this possible! Congrats to those of you that made it through the entire 31 days!
I understand that many of you will be looking forward to taking a break after a month of daily drawings, but for those of you looking to either continue or join in, we will be posting weekly prompts from the year-long Inktober52 list.
You’re free to create a separate post for your own stuff if you wish, or you can post it as a comment in the weekly prompt post. I will corral any individual posts and post them there as a comment.

Yay, my final entry! I wasn’t sure if I would make it, but I’m happy I stuck with it until the end.

This is really neat. I'm sad I just found this at the end of the month. Could we continue this beyond this month if there is interest?
Also it occurs to me it might be fun to hide the prompts and allow people to look at all the drawings and then try to guess the prompt. Though I would like to be both a drawer and a guesser, so not sure how that would work. Maybe split the prompts into groups. Not sure if there is currently enough participation for that though.

Original photo. I wanted to try drawing one directly in ink instead of sketching with pencil. This should give you an idea of how often I normally erase.

Made a few attemps at today's theme. The face behind the grilled door is a weird thing. I started with the nose and eyes and didn't like it. So I started crossing it to get rid of it, and somehow it made it better. So i went back into it and made in into a ship door i guess.
