I mean, fuck Tik Tok, yes. But also try saying "Liberate Hong Kong", "Taiwan Independence", "Remember Tiananmen Square 1989", or "Xi is Winnie The Pooh" on Rednote. Let's not pretend that Rednote, or any other Chinese media, is free of censorship either.
Yes, you're right. "This population under a genocide should liberated" and "Chinese man is yellow bear lol" are equivalent forms of conversation. Absolutely heroic.
Well as for point 1, there is, at most, equal as much call for violence in the phrase "Free Palestine" as in "Liberate Hong Kong", so those are actually decent comparisons of calls to action. Except really, as Hong Kong is not in open war with China, there really is no need for violence. China just has to give up its false claim to it. That's even more true with Taiwanese Independence. That requires no violence at all. China is the source of the threatened violence in that case, and they simply need to recognize and respect Taiwan's Independence from them.
As for your point number 2, I assume this is in reference to Tiananmen Square? First of all, you need to look up the definition of libel. "Remember Tiananmen Square 1989" does not make any claims of fact, true or not, so there is no way that that statement itself is libel. Second, I'll state outright that the massacre that occurred on June 4th 1989 is a fact, and you can kiss my ass if you are claiming otherwise. True statements, btw, are also not libelous.
And as for point 3, really? I'm racist to repeat a childish meme about an authoritarian leader that his own Chinese citizens came up with? That shit started on the Chinese internet, my guy, not in the west. You have got an uphill battle if you want to claim that the Chinese people are racist against Chinese people. Dumbass.
You are a profoundly unserious person if you equate the 100 year lease of Hong Kong, that was signed at the point of a gun, ending for the Brit*sh and ownership reverting to the Chinese with the genocide of the Palestinians by the settler colonial state.
You're just being a vulgar imperialist. I didn't read further.
Laughing at your mental inferiority aside, you're a gutless fucking coward for just using that as an excuse to not engage with WHY your opinion is worth throwing in the garbage bin, which I articulated perfectly well enough to respond to if you had the will or ability.

No, you fabricated a sentiment that I neither expressed nor agree with. I did not "equate the lease of Hong Kong [...] with the genocide of Palestine."
I used, among other examples, "Liberate Hong Kong" as a thing that would likely be censored by Rednote. I was making this statement as a rebuttal to OP's implication that Tik Tok censors things but Rednote does not. I was then accused of calling for violence by the call to liberate Hong Kong, and that supposed fact was being used to justify hypothetical censorship of that statement. I then said that that statement was AT MOST as much a call for violence as "Free Palestine" (a sentiment that I wholeheartedly support, btw), but that it really didn't need to be a call for violence at all as there is currently no active violence in that conflict and it could be resolved diplomatically. Then YOU came and accused me saying that the situation in Hong Kong was exactly the same as the genocide in Palestine when I very explicitly said that they are not the same. You didn't bother reading or comprehending what you read and then you got butthurt that I did respect your analysis. Have I missed anything?
equal as much call for violence “Free Palestine” as in “Liberate Hong Kong”
No there fucking isn't. First of all, Hong Kong has been a part of China a great many centuries before the US had started their first genocide (and boy did they start early) and was wrested from them by colonial violence, like Palestine was wrested by the colonizing Europeans. Violence of the oppressed isn't equal to the violence of the oppressor as much as libs like to clutch their pearls about it, the most unspeakable violence is what's happening BY NOT FREEING PALESTINE.
"Free Hong Kong" coming from fucking westerners is as disgusting as "Free Panama" was and "Free Texas" way back when. It means "free to be looted by US" and fuck everyone who still does the legwork for imperialists.
The difference here is that TikTok did not enforce censorship on content related to the genocide in Palestine, nor did it have a right-wing bias in the algorithm like, say, Twitter does.
This shift in censorship puts TikTok in line with Twitter and Facebook/Instagram on the propaganda narrative that they want on their platform. Which is a massive issue for anybody left of white supremacists who cares about free speech and facts.
looks at how they promote AfD influencers in Germany, and how they promoted targeted videos to try to elect a neo-nazi in Romania
It doesn't have what?
Well arguably it has whatever-destabilizes-the-country-the-most bias, but for most of the western world this mostly means they have a pro local fascists bias.
You're right, that would be a concern if I felt important enough for China to give a fuck about me and what I have to say as a foreign national. Too bad that me only exists in your imagination and the real me understands that the world does not revolve around their travel and internet activity.
They meant physical consequences as in using China's internet access unique id to identify the commenter and then having them "reeducated" by local government forces.
