Season's greetings, fellow godless communists. I'm here to disseminate orders from our Supreme Communist Dictator as we once again find ourselves fighting against the very concept of Christmas. As a reminder, by the end of our five-year plan, we plan to be in a position to attack and dethrone God, but this intermediate step is required to fulfil this directive. Our forces in the field have made significant, if gradual, progress since you received your mission update last year. It has been difficult, but we have developed a series of defensive lines to prepare for a counteroffensive out of Lapland that will try and reach the Gulf of Bothnia in an attempt to cut the land bridge that we have set up across Scandinavia.

Currently, we foresee a few major threats. General Santa Clauswitz has been developing many tools in his workshop, including artillery-launched snowballs, barbed tinsel, and reinforced gingerbread armor plating for his tanks and infantry carriers. President Frostyy has made the following public statement: "The socialists who wish to destroy us have no idea what their defenses are about to face. Democracy will always defeat autocracy. Christmas will always triumph over X-mas. The leaders of the axis facing us are all on the naughty list and will be tried for crimes against festivity once this war is over."

Delusional as this may be, the next couple days will be the most dangerous as they stage their counteroffensive, and we need everybody to pitch in and get into defensive positions. We expect this to be the last major push that they will make before collapse. Please report any Christmas trees, mistletoe, or general symbology of the Christmas regime to your superiors.

  okay, i'm not religious or american so maybe some of this escapes me, but surely those christians are still human, they still think about these things and arrive at their own conclusions, they still have hearts - theres no amount of religion that can beat that out of you. And at least some of those pastors must geniunely believe in jesus and all the peace and love stuff, you don't devote decades of your life to a religion without believing in it. there must be a point where 'thou shalt not kill' and 'turn the other cheek' wins out. i mean, they care (or at least think they care) so much about life that they're trying to outlaw abortion, but kids being blown up and babies being left to rot in hospital beds is actually based? that level of cognitive dissonance shouldn't be possible and it has to boil over eventually

Your vision of reality is fundamentally different from someone who consumes american media, or who is subject to the censorship you see in campuses and american mainstream social media. Just as you wouldn't ask the palestinians to turn the other cheek to the state that massacres them, christian supremacists in the US don't have to strain their minds in solving these contradictions. They are all properly insulated.
  The only thing Israel (the State) cares about is that there be a critical mass of voters in the US who are slavishly pro Israel. Those who still are pro Israel today will continue to be that forever, and no amount of Jesus Christ in their lives will change that. Worst case scenario, the current zionist president Israel hates will lose the elections next year and Israel will get a zionist president they like.
  But to go back to your initial question: asking wether Israel (or Israelis) even cares about optics is something else. Simply put the Israelis have been othering and massacring the palestinians for so long, that they are simply speaking their truth online. The israeli people are ghoulish and murderous towards palestinians because that is normal in Israel. There is nothing strange about israeli tiktok viral challenges about laughing and singing at crying old women who lost their entire families, or posting videos online about fun it is to torture palestinians. The Israelis are documenting their own war crimes because they are proud of it all.

When you spend your whole life convincing yourself of an elaborate fiction about the entire universe in order to justify acting in certain ways, the idea that those actions you are justifying can be hypocritical or change on a whim don't seem that far out to me. Base everything on a lie with no basis and it's not surprising the foundation will wobble and warp and do any silly ol' thing right up to you convincing yourself genocide is cool. Seems to be a lot of that historically (e.g. Crusades, missionaries), in case anyone doubts. The religion is there as a facade to justify whatever other motivations (generally material) the actor and their puppet masters are acting on. And that's pretty much it. Religion: here's how you can feel good about what you are doing.

  Easy. Israel is fighting a holy war agains the Muslims who are occupying god’s holy land. If Israel bombs it, then it must not be part of my bible, so it’s fine.

  The hardline evangelical protestant base in the USA have apocalyptic visions involving Israel which are actually very antisemitic upon further analysis. Apocalyptic visions involving the death of all Jews, moving all Jews to Israel, and/or sparking a war in the region, all to speed up the second coming of Christ or rapture, depending on the type of Evangelical brainrot present. They'll just view this as a sign that the "end times" are fast approaching. Also a lot of protestant reformation was, and continues to be, behind the times and an obstacle to social progress.
