Trans Megathread from January 13th, 2024 to January 19th, 2024

"Nearly every social event I have attended with [communists] has inevitably had some conversation about linux, furry culture, obscure leftist history, tabletop games, or other equally nerdy subjects"

As a reminder, please do not discuss current struggle sessions in the mega. We want this to be a little oasis for all of us and the best way to do that is not to feed into existing conflict on the site.

Also, be sure to properly give content warnings and put sensitive subjects behind proper spoiler tags. It's for the mental health of not just your comrades, but yourself as well.

Here is a screenshot of where to find the spoiler button.

  • After a year, doing my estrogen injections are just a normal, mildly annoying part of life, and not super exciting like they used to be. I know it was bound to happen at some point, but still a bit sad. transshork-sad On the other hand, there's something nice about feeling it's a normal part of life too.

    • Progesterone can bring that excitement back for a while, especially when you to put it up your bum. transshork-happy

      • I'd love to at least try prog for a while, but idk how, it's more difficult to do get DIY than E is where I live, and getting it through a doctor is literally impossible doggirl-cry It's a lot harder to get steady supply of pills through customs than tiny vials that last a year each

Damn, that sucks because estrogen dominance (high estradiol, low progesterone) can lead to some health issues; I suspect it’s the reason I developed mastopathy a year ago.

I just hate how there’s almost no research into our healthcare and that a lot of doctors are treating us with complete apathy. We really deserve better than that. doggirl-growl
