Pretty sure? I thought the Lemmy audience was better at detecting sarcasm than Reddit âčïž I guess I'll have to keep on using sarcasm tags here too then.
It's not a problem with the platform, any online setting that has diverse enough views are going to require that. To get away from them you need to just put out views that basically everyone agrees with, which can be done by either sticking to echochambers or just having absurdly accepted views.
This also only happens among people who don't know eachother. Smaller groups usually know eachother well enough to Intuit intention, or at least have no compunction against asking for clarification.
I can't imagine going through life being this sensitive to absurd sarcastic jabs. For the sake of my sanity, I have to cross my fingers and hope you were just badly joking along, too.
