That's very cool, but I think they should have waited a bit, maybe even move it to the Switch 2. Three Mario RPGs in a year is a lot, maybe space them out a bit more to prevent fatigue, you know?
Releasing similar games close to each other is known to cannibalize sales of each other, so it's not a completely bad suggestion. Hopefully Nintendo have enough data to know this won't cause much issue.
Don't worry, we'll all be able to purchase the game on Switch 2, eventually. And anyone who missed it or wants to play it again will pick it up. Everybody wins, except our wallets!
