Getting the procedure done this week. Ordered some underwear with ice packs and sleeve for comfort. Planning on laying on the couch watching DS9.
Any advice from those who have already crossed this Rubicon?

Nah its real and its weird, but you jerk off and it mostly goes away.
Blue balls is not fake and is not a joke. You might be getting it mixed up because some guys exaggerate it and/or use it as an excuse to pressure unwilling people into sex. But it's a real thing. Anywhere from moderate discomfort to mild pain.
I still get pain like that after 9 months, have to massage down there a bit sometimes during intimacy (lol)
If I'm beating cheeks I feel bruised on the left and right sides on my pelvis like I mashed the cords or something. It's a blessing and a curse.
