Best Buy is saying goodbye to movie-watching with physical discs. The consumer electronics retailer plans to phase out its DVD and Blu-ray sales by early 2024 — with physical movies set to be sold in-stores and online as they are today through the holidays.

Like what? Unless they're going to become a free Lan center with a bunch of rigs and vr headsets set up on one side with couch console gaming setups on the other to "drive hardware sales" what big innovative tech is going to make sense in that old retail consumer space?

I keep thinking they could make more cash sub-letting kiosk spaces to smaller tech brands. If there's funds rock the flea market look, they might as well go all the way.
