sometimes federated reports are lost to the ether or only show up to moderators of a comm. so the mods might ban them in that comm and the admins not see it. logistics issues. if you message the admins directly theyll purge from site, some respond quicker if you ping them on matrix

No, Sexism is when you ignore and belittle women (like you have here in this thread) and when you get defensive when women mention how aggressive men can be towards them. As an individual I don't care if 90% of people who share characteristics with me (age, sex, ethnicity, dressing preferences etc) are all proven to be psychotic rapists. I would still be offended personally if strangers judged me.
I understand that the reality of the situation is that women have no choice but to be careful around certain types of strangers even if they don't really know if a person is really dangerous. I'm saying that this reality results in me being stereotyped and looked down upon due to circumstances beyond my control. And that offends me.
I agree I am defensive about myself, because I have never hurt anyone and would 100% feel offended if people were afraid of me without knowledge.
