Trans Megathread for the Week of May 19th, 2025 to May 25th, 2025 - SeaBed (visual novel) + Handsome Girl and Crossdressing Boy (suggestive/R18+?) + BonnieBugsy's "Ranma Lazuli" fanfic series

Made this one somewhat last minute, but here goes- my reccomendations for this week are a yuri "mystery" VN that's near and dear to my heart (that goes into processing grief) though it's been a while since I last played it, and a cute and sloppy (not bad sloppy) manga about crossdressing (and if you ask me is honestly at least kinda genderfuckery).

I figured I'd also add BonnieBugsy's "Ranma Lazuli" fanfic series (available on Ao3) to make it a triple feature because why the hell not. The two fics I can recommend (not having completed the other large fic yet though I'm sure it would deserve equal recommendation) are pretty near and dear to me as well.

  • Misc shower thoughts:

How do you/should I exfoliate? I tried a sugar scrub today and liked it but didn't know if there was some other/better way to do it I guess.

Also my razor is dragging on my skin, not gliding like it used to. This means its dull and I should get a new one, right? I wasn't taught anything

    • I too was never taught to shave. My dad didn't teach me nothing and my mom plucks her "stray eyebrows" as she puts it.

A razor should glide especially if you have a nice shaving cream or lotion. When it gets too dull, that's when you'll see it rip out hairs and nic and cause bleeding. It also might just be filled up with cream, dead skin, and hair chunks. Rub it backwards against your arm or something in the shower (the opposite direction of shaving) and it'll help loosen the extra gunk out, wash it out really well afterwards.

Below you mentioned using 4 blade razors for your face. Even for your body, stick to fewest blades possible. A safety razor can get you pretty smooth! Even a two blade disposable razor does a good job too. You may have to look at women's razors sections for a small number of blades. They make the bigger fancier razors for profit reasons, not cause its actually any good.

I exfoliate with a wash cloth in a shower, that's enough for me. The wash cloth gets used ONCE and then in the laundry (or you just clean it out in a sink, whatever). I don't use a loofah, some people insist, but they're kinda narsty to me... they get bacteria all over and then are kept in a warm moist place all the time. Yeugh. Exfoliation and then a nice moisturizer AND sunscreen can go quite a long way to making your skin feel nice and being protected! You don't need more expensive goops like retinol or vitamin c or whatever, they're there and marketed to young people for profit not because it's useful or even good. If you want something fancy like retinol moisturizer, use it once or twice a week not every day. Also you can't use it if youre getting laser hair removal, I don't remember why.

Even though I mostly do the mechanical wash cloth exfoliation, I still like to do fun stuff like a sugar scrub or whatever too :) just not every day, maybe a couple times a month max.

      • Wasn't really using that either tbf... okay thank you, I didn't know how to unclog it either

Oh okay, I didn't realize. I saw more in the store and they were a little more expensive so I just assumed they must be better. Thank you for all the information! And get a moisturizer... glad I don't need a lot of the other stuff though.

    • What kind of razor are you using?

    • I think chemical peels are the better option for most people. They’re not as harsh as mechanical peels. The only downside is that you won’t have instant results.

Ideally, if a razor feels just a little bit off, you should change it asap, even mid shave. That’s what I do with my safety razors, although with my cartridge razor I’m a lot more stingy because those things are so absurdly expensive.

      • Do you have one/some you'd recommend, or how will they be labeled in the store? Just as peels?

πŸ˜… I have definitely not been doing that, thank you. Need to get more..

        • I’m currently not using any because I’m still doing laser, but it usually says peeling solution or exfoliant together with the acid that is included + the concentration.
