It sounds weird today of course.

6 0 ReplyI've definitely seen "is not it" used before, usually in the context of things like speeches or rhetoric where someone has considered what to say beforehand and wants to keep a sense of formality. Generally it'll be part of a rhetorical question, like "Is not it better to be x than be y?"
