For anyone genuinely wondering, this is a preauricular pit -- a birth defect that could rarely signal other, bigger issues but which is usually harmless by itself. It's just a random opening, it doesn't even connect to anything.
I had that too, occasionally it would get infected and swell the entire side of my face it was on. My American insurance (Kaiser Permanente) covered surgery for removing the pit. Highly recommend looking into getting it removed, although I do miss the satisfaction of squeezing it out.
For years I wondered why when I scratched my left ear, it would feel kinda wet and then I'd get like lump in my throat, and then my finger would smell terrible. But on my right side this never happened.
After I got married my wife asked to pop the pimple on my ear. I didn't know what she meant, but I let her. Anyway a quarter century of this horrible white pus oozed out, and then we looked into what on earth just happened.
You are both wrong. You can put a wire into that hole and a hole in the earlobe and then plug in a USB stick or a phone with an RCM payload to load hekate and finally boot into Atmosphère.
It's much safer than drilling through the nose into the brain at just the right place to perform the Kamikaze hack.
also its deceiving. seems like it would be a hole but it’s more like a beauty mark in that it’s an illusion. just never seen anyone else with it til now.
