Hallo zusammen,
ich habe in den letzten Jahren als Geburtstagsgeschenk für Freund*innen & Verwandte einige individuelle Musikcompilations erstellt (CDs + Playlist / Download). Und zwar mit dem Konzept, dass die Compilation ab dem Geburtsjahr bis zum aktuellen Jahr einen Song pro Jahr enthält.
Das Musikspektrum: 🎸 🥁
Der Schwerpunkt ist partytaugliche #Rockmusik (auch #Alternative #Indie #Crossover #Grunge)), dann zum Teil ergänzt um den individuellen Geschmack der Beschenkten (bislang u.a. #Punk #Darkwave #MittelalterRock (Soft-)#Metal #Pop))
Hier haben auch im Fediverse schon einige bereits mit Musiktipps geholfen... u.a. hier
Das älteste "Geburtstagskind" bislang war Geburtsjahr 1956. Da ich mich in der Zeit musikalisch am besten auskenne, sind in meiner Vorauswahl die 90er Jahre stark überrepräsentiert, während die Liste in den 50er/60er, aber auch in den 2010er Jahren nur wenig Auswahl / Vielfalt enthält. Auch in den 70er/ 80er und ab 2005 sind weitere Ergänzungen sehr willkommen.
Der nächste Post enthält meine bisherige Liste (Vorauswahl) bzw. einen Ausschnitt daraus.
Ich wäre sehr dankbar für einschlägige Musiktipps und bin gespannt auf Eure Ergänzungen!

@Herr_Irrtum Ja, da werden einige Titel +/- 1 Jahr sein. Ist so nach und nach entstanden. Soweit es selbst gerippte CDs gab, ist es das Jahr des Albums. Nachgetaggt habe ich nur einige Songs, die von Compilations stammen oder aus anderen Quellen. Da dann meist über Discogs die erste Veröffentlichung recherchiert. Ist aber sicher nicht in allen Fällen einheitlich.

Die Idee ist ja mega. Würde vielleicht sogar nen Schritt weiter gehen und basierend auf der kompletten Sammlung, die dann zumindest genretechnisch noch getaggt werde müsste, einen nach Vorauswahl an Tags das randomisiert zusammenstellen könnte (soweit verfügbar).
Nichtsdestotrotz. Mir fehlt ja ein wenig Slipknot. Also außer Duality hast du bisher nix drin.

Ja, das taggen nach Genres ist sogar schon weitgehend vollständig (auch wenn ich die Kategorien da vielleicht noch verfeinern könnte).
Eine größere Herausforderung ist tatsächlich die songbezogene Korrektur der Tags für das Erscheinungsjahr.
ZUmindest bei den selbstgerippten Dateien sind doch viele dabei, die von Compilations oder Greatest Hits-Alben stammen und da passt es dann nicht automatisch.
Auch bei den Dateien aus anderen Quellen ist das Jahr zu ergänzen.

Für 2000 läuft "Last Resort" tatsächlich noch (bzw. wieder, nachdem es abgenudelt war) als Partykracher...
Auf der Gesamt-Liste ist von Tool auch Sober mit drauf, aber für 1994 ist die "Konkurrenz" noch größer.
