No way, ulcers are caused by medication or bacteria not spice. Spicy food just makes existing ulcers more painful.
I will not be able to professionally answer that. But that was the line the doctor at the ER my friend met said
Get some antacid tablets
Second this, run a course of some omeprazole and it should clear you right up. I find even just one pill works like a charm.
