The U.S. ambassador to Mexico has confirmed that drug lord Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada was brought to United States against his will when he arrived in Texas in July on a plane along with fellow drug lord Joaquín Guzmán López.

Does his name represent the 5th month of the year or the white egg based food topping?
- I have been thinking of him as "the mayonnaise" personally.
- I wanna say it's from the Latin word "Maius" which is the month of May. In Mexican Spanish, "mayonesa" is never shortened to mayo.
